Regardless though, Godzilla would likely win, he has fought enemy mechs of more than equal tonnage and won. The only difference here is that Optimus Prime is not some monster with an IQ of 80. The Problem though is that while Optimus Prime can kick ass and take names, its just that Godzilla can likely take a lot more punishment than Optimus can. Optimus seems pretty fragile when a hit is actually scored against him.

Optimus has a gun sooooo yeah. Godzilla does shoot a laser out of his mouth but it takes time shoot it. While zilla is charging OP can blast godzilla. And dont forget the matrix!

Godzilla would normally tower over Optimus giving him a distinct advantage, but if they're the same size there is no way in hell big lumbering Godzilla can beat up Optimus Prime. Prime is just way too nimble.
