this fight kind of happened in the show, but was never really resolved. in aftermath they both fight, and inferno seems to have the upper hand before rhinox takes him out from behind. so who takes it?

I may seem highly biased on the subject but Inferno was my second favorite character from BW. So my bias is only modest in nature ...

Dinobot

He is a trained warrior with tactician abilities. Inferno is, to quote Dinobot on another subject, "blind aggression." Remember Tarantulas was instrumental in Inferno's programming which led to his beast form heavily influencing his robot form. Firepower, rage, and persistence to "defend the colony" aside, Dinobot wins 99 times out of a 100.

Didn't Inferno blindside Dinobot in that fight? I haven't seen the episode in awhile, but I think I remember Inferno jumping Dinobot when he wasn't ready. Catching someone off guard almost always tips the scale in your direction.

In a one on one fight where they are both aware of the coming battle, I think Dinobot would take it. Dinobot nearly beat all of the Predacons alone. If Megatron wouldn't have stepped in, he would have been successful in defeating the Preds.

Dinobot took Inferno down first in "Code of Hero". He certainly would win in a one-on-one battle.

Raptor Jesus himself would beat Inferno. He did so in Code of Hero in the manliest Transformers death ever. Manly tears were shed bros.

Dinobot has the edge in tech specs. However, Inferno is pretty motivated and might strike lucky. I'm leaning toward Dinobot but it will be close.
