First match is a one on one battle.
Second match is a way, Arthur has Merlin, his knights of the round table, and his army. Caesar has the 13th Legion.

Arthur in the one on one definitely.
The second would be close, Merlin's magical, the Knights of the Round Table are stinkin' sweet. The ROman soldiers are like the greaatest fighters ever. I'd go for an undecided in the second round, but I'm rooting for Arthur.

in the one on one Arthur wins by default
in the second match it would be pretty close but i picture it like this,
phase 1: 13th legion charges, merlin casts magic missiles, knights of the round and arthur defend and arthur's army engages the enemy. casualties to both sides
phase 2: Merlin Casts more magic missiles, Arthur and knights of the round defend merlin, arthurs army advances, part of 13th defend ceaser other part attacks, both armys repelled with a few casualties
phase 3: Merlin casts a spell sheild on himself, arthur and knights of the round. Arthur's army advances 13th legion advances with ceaser at head. Merlin casts Armageddon! 13th legion, ceaser and arthur's army is obliterated, Merlin Arthur and knights of the round are protected by spell sheild, ARTHUR WINS.

Arthur was supposed to be a superb warrior, once killing over 400 men personally in one battle. We don't know Merlin's capabilities. I don't think he had true magic but he was an intellectual who could prepare strategies and arrange traps on the battlefield. We don't know the size of Arthur's army but they were excellent warriors. Arthur's army modelled their methods on those of the Roman army.
Arthur would kill Julius in single combat unless he messed up big time.
I'm assuming that the battle happens in England, where Arthur has the home advantage. I imagine that Arthur would win but the 13th Legion was very disciplined and capable. If Arthur's army lacks discipline, they will be cut down by the Romans. We don't know if the Romans have any special weapons. Things like fire arrows and multiple bolt launchers could do terrible damage to the Brits.
I need more information before I predict this outcome.
