His name's Jack (Or Joe if you've read the book). This is at least what he's referred to in the script and by Chuck Palahniuk (Author).

And I'd say Tyler beats the crap out of everyone.

Joe took a bullet with little problem and technically is Tyler. Tyler could take the UFC title, but Joe might not actually fight as good... unless he thinks he's Tyler or tags him in mentally.

Joe realizing he is Tyler might be able to do everything Tyler could and more so he's at least a viable treat.

Tyler would blow up the other guy using fat from the liposuction clinic to make explosives. (Fight Club movie)
