Well, the Dark Knight is due to come out in a few months, and Joker is pretty much a demon. So which is The best Joker?

Jack Nicholson (Batman) Mark Hamill (Batman the animated series) Cesar Ramano (Old Batman T.V. show) Or the new guy, Heath Ledger (The Dark Knight).

Personnally I like Mark's because of the voice.

its too hard to know without seeing the dark knight. and their all fairly different. hamills voice as the joker was perfect, he could be very threatening, very funny, or both at the same time. and his laugh was the best ive ever heard.

nicholsons was very good too, i recently watched some of the old batman just to see him as the joker. and ledgers is different, and stilly largely unknown. so far i really like the idea, especially him basing some of it on alex from a clockwork orange, but i think, from the trailers, his laugh is the weakest out of the three. hard to really know at this point though. so if this poll if still around, ill vote when the movie is out.

You forgot the one from "The Batman", but either way Mark Hamill's Joker from the 90's animated Batman and JL(U) is and will always be the greatest Joker imo.

The Batman Joker cos hes such a freak. he turned Bruces friend into Clayface.

the Joker in a movie is horrible. the one who turned Robin into a horrific joker child.Possible voiced by Mark Hamill.

Maybe the Heath ledger version will be good.

So id go with The Batman version.

Kevin Michael Richardson. He's good. Then there's Cesar Romero...but I didn't like him all that much.

But Mark Hamill will be my favorite Joker. We'll see if Mr. Ledger can top that, though...

As for The Batman, I didn't take the time to find out who voiced him. And sorry about Cesar I'll see if I can edit it.

well B'Elanna Torres mom sure wasn't  Ziiinng

But seriously, for me the joker was defined by Cesar Romero's campy portrail, Jack made him credibly scary, and Mark Hamill took the best of both worlds for me while keeping it kid friendly. The Rastafarian Blanka clown seemed a little forced to me so I don't see "The Batman" series clown winning if he was listed.

Still i think i'll wait for the movie before I cast my vote.

I'm a little older now and hope Heath can bring more terror than Jack did.

Agreed.I alway wished that Cesar Romero had been givven a chance to play the character more darkly. He was such a good character actor.

No, but by the end of the 1966 movie, I felt like I went ten rounds with Mighty Thor. And the only cure was Batman Begins!

I blame Burt Ward, mostly.

I voted for Mark Hamil.

However Heath Ledger seems to pull off a helluva Joker so I'll have to see the movie before he can be compared.

i vote mark hamill....i never saw much of cesara (srry if i spell that wrong) and i did rather like Jack Nicholson but Mark has teh laugh. I was really hoping mark would b joker in teh new movie but since it is Heath ledger i can deal with it. Idk how he will b (definitly a bit more insane) but Mark Hamill in the cartoon was GREAT
