Rome in the time of Julius Caesar. He Pompei, Cato, Mark Antony, and Brutus are the commanders, they have access to all the Legions.

Now take China from the Dynasty Warriors era, have all the clans unite to fight Rome.

Both have Prep time.

I often wonder how things would have gone if Japan had faced England or France during the middle age. My guess is Asia had much greater fighting technics, culture, better weapons and technology by that time.

But this fight seems more even. But then again china had better weapons. Both regions were bathing in warfare.

China had more people overall so they would've won, I guess. The Legions were really tough, though. In England, 20,000 Romans killed 250,000 Britons at the Battle of Watling Street.

The problem here is distance. It was possible for armies to move around the world but it took months and it was extremely expensive. The costs would've been prohibitive. The battle wouldn't have happened.
