Who will win between Classic Megatron vs. Beast Wars Megatron??? I would like to know.

In my opinion, Optimus Prime from Beast Wars and Rodimus Prime from G1 will team up and beat them.

Given the dimensions issue, if it is TM2 Megatron he will win, but if it is either of his other two forms then Classics will win.

Classic Megatron wins easily.

in robot masters both Megs were about the same size.

I hink i'ld still give it to the gun though...

TM1 Megs in the same size as G1 Megs would put up a great fight though... could go either way really

TM2 Megs should be too much for the first Megatron, even after returning the G1 spark, provided robot masters is given any cannonasity (it should be a word though i'm sure it isn't)

Disregarding robotmasters... TM2 megs has a chance, but not much of one as bumblebee is still bigger and the power out put of a G1 guzzler should put a BW member in stassis if not for there beastmode. The firepower just shouldn't match up.

G1/G2 Megs, though he has to win within a certain amount of time because BW Megs can outlast him.

Classic Megatron wins this easily.

classic megatron easily. far greater strength, firepower, duribility, experience in combat and pretty much every other quality that will be a factor in this fight. g1 megatron is a beast. shockwave is said to be maybe equal to him, and shockwave defeated all 5 dinobots at once. beast wars megatron, in any form wouldnt come close to that kind of power.

even if beast wars megatron could take on grimlock, and thats a huge if, he still wouldnt come close to g1 megatron. g1 megaton in the comics butchered grimlock. in the dreamwave comics he literally tore half of shockwaves arm off with his bare hands. shockwave, who defeated all 5 dinobots. beast wars megatron is hardly a blip on the radar.

Lets not forget that by the time BW Megs comes along, Cybertron has had alot of peace and security, as well as time going past. Put it this way, i can imagine the transformers technology base has sky-rocketed during the age of peace that they've had.

Therefore, i wouldn't count BWs Megs as being too weak. Put it this way, he's probably about five times more sophisticated.

However, G1 Megs would still win. I mean, BWs Megs is just a wannabie G1 Megs for goodness sake :p. Lets not also forget that for all his tech, to 'kill' optimus prime he needed to charge his weapon to FULL power just to blow away half his face... that's the limit of what he could do in Trans 1..

they have had alot of time to develop technology, and beast wars megatron probably is alot more sophisticated. but they have lived in peace. g1 megatron has been at war for millions of years, before the beast wars had bw megatron even been in a serious large scale battle?

i dont think either the maxinals or predacons would overtly develop weapons with the history they have with eachother, meaning that although their tech might be very advanced, their weapons wouldnt have progressed as much as youd expect. there would have been advancements, but nothing like if they had been at war.

i think a good analogy would be taking a brand new compact ipod and an old massive boombox. the ipod is alot fancier, more features, more compact, more energy efficent, but the boom box has way more power, and if you throw them at eachother the ipod is at best only going to make a dent.

Developed technology? The weapons in Beast wars were pretty fischer price compared to the old school. It must work like the star wars movies. For no reason, decades of technology seems to have made everything crappy. I say O G Megs FTW.

lets assume for a second size is not an issue and look at their merits and flaws.

G1 MEGS: MERITS: armored metal skin, fusion cannon, black hole link, flight.
FLAWS: One dimensional thining and simplistic plots.

BW MEGS: MERITS: very intelligent with a skill in long term planning. beast head cannon, flight
FLAWS: weak beast skin (unless transmetal).


I have to say this one would be close, even if size is factored it. If BW megs has time to plan ahead of time he may even have a chance at victory, but in a flat out brawl between the two, assuming BW megs is transmetal or better, the deciding factor in his loss will be G1 Megs fusion cannon's black hole link. He could channel enough power to decide a close fight. However if BW megs had time to plan ahead and disable the cannon first it would be a very close fight.

Classic (2006) Megs wins. He's bigger, his tech specs are very high and he can blow a big hole in the other guy.
