this isnt a fight to the death situation, more of a fight to stop trypticon attacking the arc. the aerialbots managed to drive trypticon away, and although they didnt manage to get it done, the minibots also did a decent amount of damage when trypticon was first encountered.

so my question is, if omega supreme was guarding the arc rather than the minobots, would trypticon have still destroyed it. i dont expect omega to defeat the decepticon base, but can he simply cause enough damage that the decepticons have to recall trypticon like they did in the ultimate weapon.

omega can be injured, crippled or killed during the find, it doesnt matter as long as he can defend the arc. omega doesnt have alot of agility, but presumably more than trypticon, and hes possibly as old as alpha trion himself,and hes been fighting nearly the entire time. he would instinctively know weak points and strategies for taking out large heavily defended bases, which is technically what trypticon is.

so, can he do it?

Wait, Omega Supreme is faster than Tripticon too? I already think he's more durable of the two so I think he can save the arc.

I love Omega Supreme but i still think Trypticon destroys the ark no matter what Omega throws at him. He's just too big and powerful for Omega. Omega might be able to hold him off a little longer for reinforcements to arrive but if they did'nt the ark would still fall.

I'm with Defcon!. It comes down to whether the reinforcements manage to arrive in time.

However; just as Air Raid pretty much single handedly beat Trypi in the Ultimate Weapon, Omega himself could replicate the Aerialbot's feat. I'm assuming Omega can use his rocket transformation for combat. If so, he can simply out manoeuvre Trypticon, target a weak spot, and unleash a barrage of fire upon it.

I think that's the best chance his has of stopping the menacing Citycon.

With all due respect to Omega Supreme, Trypticon is probably the single most powerful Decepticon ever created. He has the advantage in pretty much every area--strength, firepower, intelligence, and mobility. True, Omega could probably use his rocket component against Trypticon in some way, but I doubt it's that maneverable or practical in atmospheric flight. The Aerialbots might have flown in through his mouth and caused damage on that one occassion, but they just got lucky there. (It's been a while since I saw "The Ultimate Weapon," so I probably forgot a few details.)

Omega may be a more experienced and seasoned fighter, though we don't know how old Trypticon is--his body was built on Earth, but I suspect that the Constructicons incorperated a preexisting personaility component. Omega is probably powerful enough to target Trypticon's weak spots and cause some minor damage, so if all he needs to do is hold him off, he has a good chance. But in the long run, his power pales besides that of Trypticon's. I should probably note that even a "normal" sized Transformer can hold up against Omega with a suffiently powerful weapon, as Galvatron did in "The Big Broadcast of 2005."

Trypticon vs Omega Supreme

Trypticon IMHO could ignore OS and destroy the ark taking min damage,then turn OS into scrap within 3 mins after the time it takes him to get to the ark.

i forgot all about this fight. omega cant win, but you have to remember the minibots did decent damage to trypticon in 5 faces of darkness, enough to get through his armor at least. omega would have far greater fire power than they do.

Omega is a very loyal Autobot but Trypticon has hypnotic eye beams. Can Omega resist? Most can't. Omega might be turned into Trypticon's ally and then the Ark is doomed. Even if he resists hypnotism, Omega would have to hesitate for a moment. That would give Trypticon time to blast Omega hard.

I imagine that Omega might try a kamikaze attack. He could transform to rocket mode, crash into Trypticon and detonate his power core. That might cripple or destroy Trypticon.

In a less suicidal approach, Omega could fly over and land on top of Trypticon, blasting him and tearing him with that big claw. Again, Trypticon might be crippled or even killed. Omega would need to knock out Trypticon's weapons, including his eyes and jaws. Then he could work on the rest of that giant Decepticon body.
