The movie forum isn't as fun without him! But, much like Old Yeller, he had to die. It was less of an "AWWWW" moment, and more of an "AWWWW YEAH!" moment.

Most one sided pointless fight, ever. A robot built to kick the crap out of other robots, vs a guy with a drug problem who is chased by "ghosts."

If Pacman can eats countless numbers of dots and ghosts, I am sure he can handle a bit of robot for dessert as well. :wink:

I think that Pac Man is supposed to represent consumer culture: a man who is constantly consuming. Almost inevitably, he is killed by the ghosts who haunt him and hunt him. I read an article about the making of Pac Man in Japan.

By the way, he was originally called Puck Man but that was easily changed to F**k Man, so he had to switch to Pac Man.
