Naruto Ninjas win. They fight what is essentially the MK ninjas on a day-to-day basis.

EDIT: and that's one hell of a line-up of Naruto Ninjas. I mean, if you gave him a shot of booze, Rock Lee could handle this on his own.

I don't even mean DBZ Jr here. They've fought guys who not only have similar movesets to the MK ninjas, but also guys on the same level or higher.

And this is even before they started becoming DBZ Jr. Haku, one of the first major bad guys on the show, when a Kunai still did damage, was a Cryomancer who could kick Sub-Zero's ass any day of the week. They barely survived that battle, but they survived that battle.

Prolly Scorpion and Sub Zero might do some damage....But other wise Mk Ninjas loose....

Rock Lee wouldn't even need booze in order to mop the floor with either of Scorpion or Sub-Zero.

Considering Rock Lee is one of the most badass characters in Naruto. Especially considering he has no special abilities like Naruto or anyone else.

This makes Rock Lee, Batman with a Bowl Cut.

Scorpion isn't a ninja. He wears bright yellow, and is never sneaky, and he yells all the time. Which, I believe, you have said that the criteria for being trained in ninjutsu is to wear dark clothing and be sneaky. Naruto, at least, practices and uses Ninjutsu.

To be honest, I've watched the entire Naruto series at least twice over so far, Naruto and Naruto Shippuden.

Scorpion can shoot a snake spear from his hand. Naruto can't. Ermac can beat people senseless with his mind. Naruto can't. That's all...for now.

If you're going to say that, then you should have started that post with "I've never seen Naruto nor do I have any idea what these character are capable of." Naruto can't do those things...but this isn't just Naruto, it says "Naruto Ninjas" meaning...damn near the entire cast, actually.

Telekinetic attacks and animal-based weaponry are all day one stuff. Most of the cast has that down before they're even full fledged ninjas. And by that time they've already been trained to outmaneuver Spider-Man.

Other things you didn't mention:

Gaara can form a sand shield into almost perfect defense. The first person to break it lost an arm and a leg.

Naruto can form an army of himself, each one capable of launching a powerful energy attack.

Itachi can beat people senseless with his mind.

Sasuke can as well.

Hinata and Neji both have superhuman sight, and can see 360 degrees as well as x-ray vision.

If Naruto ninjas means "damn near the entire cast" then it should be ditto for MK, as for Naruto's shadow clones they are not very durable, and valor beats numbers. Hinata and Neji can't see 360 if Noob Saibot is hidden in darkness. Itachi and Sasuke can't do the eye thing if they are frozen solid, courtesies of Sub-Zero. Gaara can turn into a giant sand monster so Rain can drench the crap out of him. Rock Lee is only physical and so is Might Guy but Scorpion's spear and Reptile's acid/poison can stop them

It doesn't count "ditto" for Mortal Kombat because most of MK's cast isn't ninjas. When I said nearly the entire cast, I mean because nearly the entire cast is classified as ninjas.

Naruto's Shadow Clones become weaker the more he spawns, which my as well be the Inverse Ninja Law in action. However, spawning three for a pair of dual Rasengan won't tax them too much.

Yes they can. They can see chakra as well, which you can't just hide in shadow.

Scorpion's snake-spear is pathetic. It couldn't catch Johnny Cage, and he's not nearly as fast as Rock Lee.

There are very few MK ninjas. They are technically fighters thus the Mortal Kombat tournament. Since they are fighters and not stalkers, I mean ninjas, they are tougher by a long shot. Noone in Naruto is dead and residing the Underworld but still on a quest for revenge. If you lived in hell you'd be pretty tough too.

I get the Naruto team because they all get along sort of, for a little while, and are all from the same village. But Scorpion hates Sub-Zero and Sub-Zero hates Noob, so where is the theme for Team MK?
