Dreamwave has Bubbleformers
IDW has Transsexualformers
Fun Pub has differently coloured Transformers
OUTCOMES
Dreamwave wins on sheer nostalgia value but loses on not paying staff and thus collapsing
IDW wins on longevity and breaking new ground but loses on staff conflicts and cringey gender politics
Fun Pub wins on having different colours and reversing roles but loses on sparse publishing of issues
WINNERS
The readers, with approx. 20 years of comics to enjoy
The toy makers, with tonnes of free publicity
The movie makers, likewise
All the other associated businesses
