Well, on other sites I've seen similar threads or have made some that have been stickied since they are fun but since this site actually has a "Fantasy versus" forum no need but will be fun none the less. Discuss and everyone is more then welcome to post their thoughts on these battles.

Easy Basic Rules:

#1. Please NOTE: This is NOT a fighting, flaming thread. So, please keep all that stuff out of this. Everyone be sure to respect others views and discuss in a mature fashion. If you debate, please try your best to keep it as civil as possible. I don't want to see this thread closed because of negative activity like that. No flaming. Thank you.

#2. The matches within this thread will be strickly anything and everything EXCEPT for users on here. Normally I wouldn't care, but someone would post something that would inevidably cause a flame war and I don't want that. So, this will be for fictional characters from comics, vid games, movies, teams, whatever....

#3. I will be the guy in charge of this thread making new, updating interesting matches daily.

#4. It's simple really, I'll post the VS. match up and you guys who visit normally, post in here will vote for whoever you feel would win the match up. You can only vote once, every vote is counted.

#5. First to 7 votes will take the match, I'd make it 10 but that will take too long. If this is taking too long/slow then I will be reducing it to 5 votes per match. If this goes by too fast, then I'll make it to 10 depending.

#6. Have fun, post away with your opinion. Remember, this is a VS. match up of fictional characters from comics, games, movies whatever. I may also use teams at some point but not right now. Feel free to post links to facts further proving why you feel "this guy, would beat that guy" or simply say "Gaga will beat poopoo" it doesn't matter. Either way, once you vote for someone it will be counted/tallied lol.


First Match Up:

Rain:


Facts about him: Wears purple ninja gi, Is Edenian, half God, and also Taven and Daegon's half brother. Inspired by purple, unused color, palette swap ninja by Ed Boon. Yet, another ninja in the MK series. Very old and has literally thousands of years of experience being Edenian.
Powers: The ability to fight really well in hand to hand combat, very old experienced being Edenian, Half God, the ability to summon water/Rain, lightning and water manipulation as he wishes.
Alignment:Evil


VS.

Dan Hibiki:


Facts about him: Wears pink dojo gi, originally made as an inside joke spoof on Ryu with his storyline having grafted head of guy named Ryo. Is yet another shoto in the SF series.
Powers:Is trained well in martial arts, shares similar moves to his shoto rivals. Can shoot small vicinity blasts from training from gouken, eventually surpassing Ryu and Ken.
Alignment:Good

Match #2-Justice League vs. X-Men:Winner-??????

Yeah, I'm going with Rain because he's more powerful then Dan by a lot, has better powers with water and lightning manipulation, thousands of years of experience being Edenian(like Kitana, same race from the same realm).

Rain gets my vote.

Updated: Ok, Rain is the winner by default since he has one more vote then Dan what an exciting match huh? lol I'll just post the next match that believe me will be 10x more interesting.

My votes for the Justice League personally, X-Men are cool but I believe they're just outpowered in the end.

Round 1, Rain wins, why would you even make him fight Dan? That's hardly fair.

Round 2, X-Men. Superman is powerful, good luck killing Wolverine. At the same time, how many League Members do you think have the willpower to resist Xavier?

Rain purple vs. Dan pink, MK vs. SF.

Second match, JL all the way..would crush the X-Men.

Superman and MMH alone can take out half the X-men, did you just say Wolverin can take out Superman? lol

Supes and MMH are both resistant to telepathy btw. MMH is also a strong telepath also

if supes can endure a combined telepathic assualt from prof x and jean grey, i'll burn my collection

No, but I did say Superman can't take out Wolverine. Wolverine's survived having his flesh being disintegrated and his bones are indestructible.

but his bones can be cut off, ala age of apocalypse. and ol wolvie has stated if his head is cut off for 12 min it will die from lack of oxygen.
