I forgot to mention, I was thinking the comics when i posted this.

But in the comics, that would be the best fight EVER. They're both badass fighting machines, and truth be told, no matter who won, neither would be able to walk away. Personally, I would pick Shockwave as well, though Grimlock is my favorite. But there's no arguing with perfection, and Shockwave is the perfect fighting machine. Ruthless, strong, fast, and smart. I think he would have obliterated Scorponok in issue 72 if Circuit breaker didn't interfere. Hell, it took both Megatron and Galavtron to beat him! And we never actually saw him die...

With Shockwave it would be hand to hand. Luckily for him, one of he's hands is a laser gun.

I don't know how much of an effect that would have. He could only use it if hye incapacitated Grimlock long enough to take a shot at him.

Also, knowing Grimlock, he probably wouldn't look at the rules twice either.

So this would be a full out brawl, fists, guns, sword, flying, whatever.

Grimlock isn't exactly stealthy. Shockwave would detect his approach. Shockwave goes cannon mode. Grimlock loses. This is the most likely outcome.

If Grimlock stays still and quiet, he might be able to shoot Shockwave in an ambush and then rush him. This is less likely.
