The Autobot leader takes on the original Predacons from episode 1, without Megatron. Can Prime take out Scorponok, Waspinator, and Tarantulas?
I think so. They're too stupid to coordiante an effective attack against primal. Te flyers might have a chance to hurt him, but his weapons are much more powerful than theirs, so they'd have to get really lucky. Given the fact that primal can fly, he would eliminate the Predacons one at a time and take them out.

If the four Preds work together, lets say both fliers keep Optimus distracted, and Scorponok and Tarantulas shoot, sure they fry the gorilla in an energon overcharge. But the Preds CANT team, not even when Megatron is commmanding. So I predict Scorponok and Tarantulas start an argue, Waspinator is the first one to crash (Scorponok fire, I guess), Optimus manage to shoot one of the ground units, Terrorsaur flee and the last ground unit is doomed.

well dinobot was a pred in episode one...left at the end of it or begining of ep two right??
either wayi think the preds win. just to much firepower. they have pinned down maximals before with sustained fire.
only way i see them loosing is if it comes to who gets the final blow and they come to blows and primal and makes the best of it and pulls it out.

Primal (original version) has maxed tech specs so the Predacons can only win with total focus and energy. Waspinator has poison missiles. Scorponok has a sting shooter that is poisonous or full of malware. Tarantulas can make some strong webs to ensnare the gorilla. They all need to slow or stall OP and grind him down.
I don't think that it'll work, though. Primal has superior fighting skills so he should prevail but perhaps with minor damage, both from enemy fire and excess energon radiation.
