Seekers. Too much firepower and room to maneuver. A couple of them may die, but in the end, they'll pick off the Autobots one by one.

Where does this fight take place? Because certain terrain can provide one side with quite an advantage.

And what's this? Tailgate? Couldn't you have chosen someone a little better?

The Seekers. Contrary to assinine cartoon representations they were a hunter killer group of elite warriors. The Cars were basically just a buncha Autobots that weren't affiliated into a group like the Seekers. They may have been made to appear all bumbling and stupid, but the Autobot cars were heroicised just as much without any real reason.
Sure, terrain, but the Seekers could probably take it to them on the ground or in a confined space as well.

The Autobot cars have Prowl, who is a very good tactician, and Sunstreaker and Sideswipe, who are very good fighters. Still, the Seekers would probably win, because they have the advantages of flight and superior firepower.

Without Prowl, not a second thought should even be considered for the Autobots. He is the one who can assure the 'Bots of a decent account of themselves, and perhaps, even a victory. Though I'm not sure how effective Prowl's strategy(ies) could be with the chaps under his command, and against the capabilities of their opponents. Still, Prowl isn't one to be taken lightly in any aspect.

Mirage is the one who possesses a cloaking mechanism, so any kind of successful stealth attack seems feasible. The trick is to cloak unnoticed, position himself, and select a suitable moment to fire a killshot, or, at least, a crippling blow.

Now, even the incessant chatterbox, that is Bluestreak, provides a great offensive. The guy's supposed to be an excellent shot, so when given the chance, I bet he could land a solid shot on the Seekers, thus reducing their effectiveness.

If the 'Bots manage to hold their ground well enough, Dirge and Thrust, being the brave couple that they are, just may become unnerved, and start to lose confidence. If such an instance occured, the 'Bots would immediately capitalize on this, turning it into a 6 on 4 battle. Their odds of winning are increased, yes?

To me, those guys in particular are the keys to the 'Bots' victory. However, as victories come, this one would be a very hard earned one against, as already stated, a force with flight and superior speed and firepower.

Well, anyway, that's my two cents. I just wanted to share some insight in this, as it would seem, one sided fight.

Bluesteak - hahahaha! Decepticons beaten by plate of meat.

The best strategy is for Mirage to lure the Seekers down to the ground with an illusion of energon or something. Once there, they will be attacked by Jazz. He will have a new weapon: Tailgate on the end of a strong chain. Jazz will swing Tailgate like a big morning star weapon. Jazz and his Tailgate weapon will be able to hit all the Seekers in one swing. They will all be knocked out and get captured by the Autobots. Either they will be taken prisoner or executed immediately.

In a more open conflict, the Seekers will attack relentlessly until the Autobots are vanquished.

I'm going to go with my Tailgate-on-a-chain idea because it's brilliant. It changes Tailgate from 'largely useless' to 'pretty useful actually'.
