So who do you think would win Sylar or the movie version of Magneto?

well GP... good to see you post a vs. but... I gotta hand it to the mutant who is atleast telekenetic and able to melt metal. The rest of Sylar's abilities should place him over the top.

I may just wiki him to add a little depth to my reasoning...

Sylar has telekinesis, eidetic memory, enhanced hearing, precognition, molecular manipulation, and radioactivity.

Jean Grey/Phoenix was more powerful than Magneto and she had just telekinesis and molecular manipulation.

Sylar wins and, if he is smart, forgets about going after Claire and uses his new magnetic fields to grab Wolverine and take his regenerative ability.

QFT especially since were discussing arguably the weakest itteration of Magneto.

But Sylar gets to keep the powers that he absorbs.

Yes, I do remember. She touched Ms. Marvel too long causing her to permanently keep the flight and super strength and causing Ms. Marvel to be in a coma. Since then, Rogue has never held on for too long. Also, even if she were to see what Sylar does to his victims and, therefore, decides to try and hold on to him long enough to permanently take away his abilities, she won't be able to handle the pain. Ms. Marvel made her go insane and Ms. Marvel was a superhero; just imagine what would happen to Rogue if she absorbed Sylar into her mind.

*end rant*

Sylar can turn Magneto into pure gold with one touch. His multiple powers go beyond electromagnetism. He should win. He can see the future.

More realistically, both these characters are impossible.
