Boba Fett- the first true movie bounty hunter with awesome weaponry

Predator - the honor bound hunter with cloaking and awesome weaponry

That depends on whether or not Boba Fett knows he's being tracked by a Predator. If he does, he wins. If not, I think the Predator could get the drop on him. (Boba Fett has tendency to not watch his back)

Boba Fett is too good to be taken down by any Predator. Believe me would know if he was being hunted and quickly turn it around to his advantage.

This. Boba was ambushed when he didn't watch his back in the books too. -One time he was knocked out by Lando Calrissian-

Boba Fett has 360 view in his helmet, so I think he could see the predator.

In ROTJ, he was way to engrossed in trying to shoot Skywalker with his wrist rocket when Han turned around.

I still say Boba takes it.

So he has a 360 degree helmet that doesn't do anything if he doesn't know he's being attacked from behind. I don't think that helps him much.

Also, a 360 degree helmet is useless unless the wearer has 360 degree vision. Even if the video itself is capable of spinning to show the viewer what's behind him, why would you need that when you can just turn around? It clearly doesn't have any kind of early-warning system, either, because it didn't tell him "Your jetpack is about to get hit and send you flying. You might want to dodge."

Also, his visor pops up screens in the corners, kinda like those video cameras that enable the driver to see behind the car without looking backwards.

But he clearly doesn't have the good sense to use it. He had the choice between dodging and shooting at a Jedi. This is a guy who grew up and trained during the Clone Wars, he should know shooting at a Jedi is useless. Luke would just block the shot, if not deflect it right back towards Boba's face. Instead he chose to aim his shot (Apparently assuming there was some invisible point where Luke couldn't use his Lightsaber to defend) and ignore the staff headed right for his jetpack.

Which raises the question, why is he considered the best bounty hunter in the galaxy? Shooting at Jedi and failing to dodge is the reason the CIS lost the Clone Wars. (Well, that and Palpatine playing both sides like a fiddle) You'd think Boba would have more sense than a Battle Droid. (And even Battle Droids knew the futility of fighting Jedi)

Well, on Geonosis, the Jedi were dealing with the bulk of the CIS forces. Likewise, the Clones were able to kill so many Jedi because the Jedi were so close to the Clones that the betrayal was unthinkable. Catching someone off guard is one thing, catching someone off guard while you spent the last three years being their best friend ever is another.

That's true, but once the clones turned, the jedi could sense that and begin deflecting bolts because even Luke could deflect blaster bolts at almost point blank range once his danger sense started going.

Also, Jango killed a Jedi in one on one and there was no secret that Jango was after them, so Jedi can be killed by simple blaster shots from one person.

Technically, Boba WOULD of caught Luke off guard in ROTJ.

I don't disagree that he's an awesome voice, I preferred the orginal though (with his whole 2 lines).

Not necessarily. Most of the Jedi were in battle when they were killed by their own Clone Troopers, they wouldn't realize the threat is from the Clones. That's kind of the brilliant part of Order 66, the Jedi would assume any sense of danger would be form somewhere other than the Clones they had become close friends with.

Yes, but it's exceptionally uncommon, and the Jedi Jango killed was probably not even a Knight. I mean, look what happened when he took on Mace Windu...

I believe he was a knight, but it's gonna take some deep searching though the EU to locate it.

Wasn't Mace and Yoda a couple of the most powerful jedi? I think if Jango had been SMART he could of beaten Windu and Jango hand just been runover by that damn beast

Not really. The Jedi "danger sense" doesn't seem to work well when the danger is coming from what the Jedi assumes is an ally. This is why Mace Windu got killed, actually. Luke, however, actually IS one of the most powerful Jedi ever, though Starkiller is probably capable of surpassing him.

Yes and no. They were both powerful, but Anakin is said to have been even more powerful. Luke, though, actually IS the most powerful Jedi, having become more powerful than all three. Also, Obi-Wan, though a very skilled Jedi Master, wasn't too incredibly powerful, and was only able to take Anakin due to better experience, a better Lightsaber style, (One that was able to take down General Grievous, something even other notable Jedi were incapable of) and a better mental state. Obi-Wan, as we've seen, was able to at least hold his own against Jango.
