Clash of the Titans!

Combatant profiles:

Trypticon.

Allegience: Decepticons.

Height: 150 meters

Weight: A lot

Weapons: Laser batteries, concussive shell cannons, turrets, drones,

Strengths: High endurance, heavy artillery, sheer size.

Weaknesses: Slow speed, Low intelligence.

Godzilla

Allegince: Earth Defenders

Height: 150 meters

Weight: 200 tons

Weapons: Atomic breath, Spiral Fire Attack, Atomic Fireball, Nuclear Pulse, claws and teeth.

Strengths: Regeneration Abilities, Intelligence, immense strength.

Weaknesses: Slow speed

Place your bets! I'm voting on Godzilla, because Trypticon is slow and stupid. One Spiral fire is all it takes.

Technically since Trypticon is a city he should make Godzilla look like a gecko in comparison. Gojira would probably win by climbing all over him and blasting Trypticon with Radioactive fire

Someone has to say it. When it comes to Godzilla..Trypticon is just another MechaGodzilla, and we all know what happens when those to meet.

So Godzilla wins

We all know what Godzilla does to cities, and to MechaGodzillas as well. By any logic, Hail to the King.

Your argument doesn't hold up.

Godzilla has never managed to beat MechaGodzilla without help from a outside source:

Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla: He got help from King Ceasar
Terror of Mechagodzilla: MechaGodzilla got screwed when its operator sacrificed herself
Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II: Godzilla would have died if Fire Rodan hadn't helped out.
Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla and Godzilla: Tokyo SOS: Kiryu actually beat Godzilla twice.

So taken that into account, Id say that Trypticon is the winner.

Yeah, shouldn't Godzilla be near Devastator, Menasor, Superion, Bruticus, Computron, Predaking's size? I would love to see Godzilla vs. Dragon Caesar from Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger, a.k.a. Dragonzord from the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

Assuming they are the same height, I think Trypticons cannons can take out Godzilla from far away (since even human artillery nowadays can shoot projectiles for great distances, I doubt it would be a problem for a race battling for millenias to have long-range weapons)

Also, Trypticon doesn't have low intelligence or slow speed, he has a score of 7/10 in int, which is the same as Starscream have. I'd say it is average; and his speed is 8/10, which is above average (for comparison: Scorponok has 4/10 speed)

Trypticon is a big mean killing machine, with lots of cannons. Godzilla becomes extinct.

I heard Onslaught can fire 6500 miles...6500...ah the exaggerated...ness of G1.
Trypticon has stronger cannons than that so he could probably strike from alot further.

To add to the intelligence, even if he was dumb, a "dumb" TransFormer would be quite a bit beyond a human who is quite a bit beyond Godzilla. I say Trypticon.

Maybe you should make a thread about it?

Dude! Don't underestimate the Godzillameister!
Godzilla cannot be taken down by guns unless he's lameass GINO. He just walks right through them, they just slightly tick him off!
Not to mention, Godzilla doesn't just die, he always has some way of coming back. In the end, Trypticon wouldn't be able to handle it. Intelligence and Speed is nothing when you have Godzilla's godhax.

I myself can only remember a few times he's actually lost: Against Kiryu in Godzilla Against Mechagodilla (he still walked away alive, against Mothra AND Kiryu in Tokyo SOS (It's implied he survived), against Mother AND Battra in Mothra VS Godzilla (He's back by the next movie) and against Destoyah (his son comes back for revenge). Foes like King Ghidorah and Destroyah would be far more powerful than Trypticon, Godzilla's got the battle made!

...Besides, Trpticon is a CITYbot, and we all know what Godzilla does to cities...

I dont mean to just butt in on this, but I happen to be a big Godzilla fan and I know that Trypticon wouldnt be able to take him down. As the one above explained just now, Godzilla walks right through gun, missile, and laser fire like nothing. It was explained in Godzilla2000 that like normal lizards, Godzilla has regenerative properties in his tough skin...but on a monstrous level so his skin is CONSTANTLY regenerating. This is the reason why he is the King of the Monsters. Any creature that can battle and defeat Destroya is a god for sure.

Trypticon can also walk through gun, missile, and laser fire like nothing.
Godzilla once got stopped by a couple of powerlines.

Lizards heal really slow, they only survive because they stop the flow of blood to damaged limbs. At any rate, Godzilla won't be able to regenerate certain vital organs when they get damaged. This was the case in Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II when his second brain was destroyed. It took the radation from Fire Rodan to restore him.

He never beat Destroyah, the JSDF did.

I didn't see the movie, but didn't he die at the end of him vs Destoroyah?
I think Trypticon's being underestimated, Cybertronians are REALLY advanced, and those two cannons on his back are really big. Much stronger than Onslaught's supposed 6500 mile range guns...

It's kinda a plotpoint, I'd spoil the movie if I explained it.

Definately, the entire idea behind the citybots is that they can destroy absolutely anything in their path.

Godzilla is just a metaphor. Trypticon wins by default.
