Who makes the bigger/better/more epic explosions?

I've always enjoyed real explosions more than Hollywood explosions.

Anyone that can make a cement truck literally vanish into a million pieces wins in my book.

Bay definately makes the bigger explosions. ROTF broke the record for biggest explosion with live people present. But they both have a general knowledge of physics and how **** blows up, but Bay definately makes the bigger ones...most of the times.

Agreed. Bay's explosions are better than other movies because it's all real. The bus thing in TF1 really impressed me. Who else would have the guts to blow a bus apart, in real life, with someone driving it, while filming it for a movie about Giant Robots. No one, that's who.
