Poll: Diddy Kong vs. Donkey Kong

I know DK would obviously murder Diddy in terms of strength, but I think Diddy could pull off defeating the gorilla, being a smaller, much faster monkey. From what I see, DK isn't always that bright, whereas Diddy has to get by with cleverness and speed to win.
So in this scenario, I think Diddy could outsmart and/or wear down DK with hit-and-run tactics when he has opportunities, and throw things such as barrels and other objects at him, as well as using his peanut pop guns to deal damage. Plus, while DK wouldn't go down easily, I doubt he could keep up with the much faster Diddy, and would eventually be felled by Diddy's tactics.
