Ironhide is nigh-indestructible (in the cartoon). Kup got dissasimbled by a bunch of robo-fish. You do the math.

Ironhide. Kup's got experience but Ironhide's got both experience and youth. ... though this does make me question what is old for TFs.

Also his Liquid nitrogen gun is always a damned useful weapon.

Kup is stronger and faster but Ironhide has a more versatile gun, which can shoot a wide range of dangerous chemicals. He also has better long-range sensors, so he can monitor Kup from a distance. Both are very experienced and also very tough. Tech specs say that Ironhide is more fragile on the inside.

I don't see these two fighting, except under duress.
