They're both immensely powerful in strength and firepower. Does being a combiner help or hurt Overlord? What about having humans as engines?

I think masterforce overlord would win in a battle against galvatron. for 4 main reasons. (1) he's newer transformers technology,he's a duo-con double godmaster. (2) he's way smarter than galvatron because he has 2 smart/competent old/experienced high raking humans controlling his actions/mind/plans. (3) overlord is gestalt size. superginrai had to combine with a secondary trailer called godbomber to beat overlord. galvatron isn't gestalt size,galvatron is regular sized. (4) overlord has more weapons,accessories & seems to have more power/energy in those weapons/accessories.

Overlord.

With European tech specs, Overlord is inferior. With Japanese tech specs, Overlord and Galvatron are quite evenly matched. Overlord is bigger and maybe stronger but Galvatron was built with Unicron technology and is hell-bent on dominating other beings. If Overlord isn't at maximum aggression (and with plenty of luck) he will lose.
