Robert Downey fights Tobey Maguire. Who wins?

Iron Man. I mean, all he need do is zap him really. Peter Parker is still just a human. He can climb, he has super strength, has his spider sense wich would come in handy, and he's smart, and could probably find a way to even temporarely disable tony's suit. Like put up a giant web between two buildings in his flight path, or web his repulsor cannons, so that it becomes purly fist to fist. BUT, when it hits the fan, Iron Man will come out on top. His suit, even without the fancy weapons, makes him alot stronger than he should be. Even with the repulsors, he's got flight on spidey, so that alone also means speed. He also has missiles, lasers, and a variety of countless other gadgets. It would be an interesting fight, for sure. But in the end, Spiderman just doesnt have what it takes I dont think.

Spidey took a grenade to the face in the first movie, while getting his skull caved in by what is essentially a crazed armored knockoff of Captain America. It slowed him down a little bit.

A human with super strength, endurance, speed, agility, acrobatics, clairvoyance, the ability to stick to, walk up, and run around on walls, and the ability to fire highly tensile, highly versatile webbing from his hands. So...not just a human at all.

I have to give this one to Spider-Man. Iron Man can pack a punch, but he lacks Spidey's maneuverability and, more importantly, the Spider Sense. Also that multipurpose webbing, especially since Tony still requires his eyes to see. (Fire a bit on his face, then pummel him while he tries to get it off)

Spider-man. He's just too badass to lose. All he'd have to do is shoot a web into Ironman's repulser blast hole things, then web his eyes, then kick his ass. Ironman gets his ass kicked way too easily in the movies.

Two factors here.
1. Aireal Domination
2. Can spidey really punch hard enough for stark to even feel it under that suit(s) of his?

Didn't do Green Goblin a whole lot of good in his first fight with Spidey, he was sent running away with his tail between his legs. Worked out even worse for Goblin Jr. in the third movie.

There's a few times in the movies where Tony is taking a hit that at least stuns him, if not knocking him out entirely. (His fight with Rhodey, for starters, Rhodey is also shown being briefly knocked out after his suit crashed when Black Widow rebooted it)

The thing about helmets is that they don't deflect damage 100%. You ever hit your head while wearing like a bike helmet? It still hurts.

Spiderman. He has his abilities where as Stark just has his suit. And plus Stark doesn't have the spider sense go off whenever he's about to get hit. And know Spiderman, he'd probably take apart the Ironman suit as the fight goes on so Stark would have nothing left and Spiderman would just beat him up after that. One thing I never got about the Ironspider suit, the suit Stark gave to Parker was that why was there only 3 legs on his back? Shouldn't there be 4 of them. And what was the point of them anyway? There's alot about about that suit I don't get.

Comic Spawn also sucks, but this is the point of the topic, Movie Spider-Man vs Movie Iron Man.

Movie Spider-Man sucks and had trouble with the Sandman, while Movie Iron Man is awesome and took on two gods and an alien army with space (whale) ships.

If this fight was between the comic versions, it would be Spider-Man, but since this is between the movie versions, well it goes to the guy wearing a tank.

Yeah, but they never flew very much higher than the buildings around them. Iron man can fly much higher, and aim downwards with precision, i'm sure.

Your example of a fight between Rhodie and Stark is pretty bad, considering they were both wearing Iron Man suits. Rhodie's was outdated, but he's also military trained, right? So, an even match IMO

Yeah, that's true.
But Iron Man is Iron Man. He can take more than his fair share of hits in that suit.

You act as if he did all of that at once, solo. Technically he didn't do any of those things, and the stuff he did do, he either struggled against or had the other Avengers backing him up. Or he struggled while having the Avengers backing him up.

Yes, that is the point. the point I was pointing out was that you made it your point to use the two of them fighting to the point of KO a part of your overall point. Get my point?

Rhodey wasn't knocked out by Tony. He was knocked out by a crash-landing. And even when they did fight, despite the fact that Rhodey's military experience made up for his inexperience with the suit at the time, Tony was also shitfaced drunk.

They beat eachother up...WITH DUMB BELLS! SINKS! THE WHOLE HOUSE! And they barely even did so much as flinch when they were hit! Honestly, that helmet can withstand a thrashing and you wouldnt feel nearly as much inside as your thinking.
Now from a spidey punch? I really dont know!

And I was reffering to when tony was knocked out by the reaction from the repulsor blasts. He got ko'd. As far as I can tell, Rhodie didnt.

He blew up the space whale on his own, fought Thor on his own till Captain America showed up at the end of the fight.

Movie Spider-Man isn't strong enough to wreck the armour.

Movie Green Goblin's armour also isn't exactly on the same level as the Iron Man armour, so comparing the two isn't an actual point. You know who else had a grenade blow up in his face?

The armor gets wrecked every fifteen minutes in the movies. Whiplash wrecked it using nothing but a homemade arc reactor powering a couple of whips. Small arms fire damaged the armor enough that Tony had trouble removing it.

I didn't say anything about that. Mind you, Norman was using a super soldier drug, so it's not like Spidey was just beating on some regular guy.

First off, normal people don't survive grenades to the face. Second, Harry was using the same super soldier drug as his dad.

Spider-Man is impossible and Iron Man died in his first major collision with something. Winner: biology.
