These 2 find something to fight about (Arcee, maybe?) and go at it. Fists, guns, whatever. Who wins?

Gotta give it to Springer on this one. I think his helicopter mode gives him abit of an advantage if the battle begins to escalate into a chase. Plus Springer has got a sword in the event the fight goes into hand-to-hand combat.

Hot Rod killed a Prime. Springer would be no match

Seriously, Hot Rod has his wrist-guns if it goes to land-to-air fight, which could penetrate a spaceships hull, and Springer didn't have any noticable weapons in alt. modes against the junkions.

Springer has his katana and gun against Hot Rods pizza slicer and wrist guns, which could make the fight interesting. If Hot Rod can dodge Springers attacks enough, he may win this.

Yeah, but the spaceship was already blasted open, Hot Rod just shot into the hole when he saw Starscream. If anything, he has pinpoint aim.

2nded. I also think Hot Rod can outrun Springer in either of his alt. modes, if it turns into a chase/ambush.

im pretty sure he is more experienced. Hot rod was quick to act and anger. something springer could use to his advantage. Springer has greater range of tactics avalible to him. gorund or air, hot rod is stuck on the ground.

We see more of what he can do in the movie, and he's pretty competent.

Hotrod fought galvatron, yeah, but it was more hit and run tactics... until Galvatron started crushing his throat. Without the matrix, Galvatron would have killed him then and there.

But seriously, my money's on Springer. He's leader of the Wreckers for a reason.

I should check myself though before someone does. Is he part of the Wreckers in the cartoon or was that only in the comics?

Either way I'm rooting for springer.

That's just a UK comics thing. Though Furman did introduce them into ReGeneration One, then promptly had Springer killed by Megatron. So far, 1 of the highlights of the series.

Springer is a straight up fighter but is a little more calm, cool and collected of which,I believe, makes him more focused in a fight and a clearer thinker. Which gets results.

I reckon Hot Rod could pull some slippery tactics to turn the tides in his favor when push came to shove cause he's wildcard. But pound for pound i would put my money on Springer.
HotRod isn't much of a tactician and isn't really all that dedicated to being a soldier or a fighter like Springer.
Springer takes it.
