Comics: Shockwave vs. Galvatron.

In the original G1 comics, Megatron and Galvatron teamed up on Shockwave, but we never saw the outcome, only that both Megs and Galvy survived. Can Galvatron by himself (sane or not) take on the extremely strong, calculating and ruthless Shockwave?

Spotlight Shockwave: a blast from S at maximum power knocked out all the Dinobots simultaneously. S could beat G this way too. However, G could do the same to S.
This all comes down to who can shoot first. I'd have to bet G but the odds wouldn't be very good. If S has only a few seconds to prepare, he can turn the tables on G.
In a fight without weapons, G wins.
