Originally planned as an episode for the third season of the Beast Wars TV series, Dark Glass didn't make it into production, and the script by Christy Marx has never seen the light of day.

If you're familiar with Beast Wars, and its finale in particular, you would likely be aware of the importance of the Dark Glass story in filling something of a plot hole. In the aftermath of Rampage's death, TM2 Dinobot begins to see memories from the Original Dinobot. But if TM2 Dinobot was created from a blank protoform and half of Rampage's spark, where are these memories coming from?

This script is my take on how the Dark Glass story may have played out.

When you're trying to fit the contents of what would have been a 22-minute episode into a 24-page comic book issue, there's a lot to cover in a short space of time.

Page 17 panel 1 - 'slumps' not 'lumps'

This seems reasonable enough. I only found one clear mistake. TM2 Dinobot has a very strange origin story! It must be awful to have such inner turmoil. How can he survive with half of Rampage's spark inside him?! It will lead him to destruction sooner or later. TM2 Dinobot needs a new name to avoid confusion, I reckon.
