Has anybody ever posted any stories on Fanfiction.net? I am just wondering how to do this, as I have already joined, but do you have to type the stories on your computer first and then upload them? Or do you type the story up at the website itself?

You type the story on your computer and save it and then upload it to fanfiction.net via your profile. I have an account there already: Sylus Marner, I only have one story and its a story about Sango and Miroku from Inuyasha. If ya need any more help on posting your story on FF let me know and I'll be glad to help.

I have a FF.N account too, my name's Lny1 there. Posting anything on FFN can be a hassel. But yes. You save whatever fic you want to post on your comp, go to your profile and click documents. From there you will follow the instructions, upload the file, and then you go to another place to create the actual story.

Thank you. I have not put a story up yet so I wanted to make sure it wasn't a type-it-up-right-at-the-site kinda thing. I have some Star Wars story ideas and one Transformer story idea, but the major thing is just doing character research for them. Is watching Transformer episodes on Youtube or whereever an illigal practice? I'm only asking this because I assume they are free to view, and I don't know if there are the same rules for cartoons as there are for movies. I know movies have a bunch of copyright laws on them and so does music, so I don't know it applies to viewing cartoons anywhere other than the TV station or bought DVD.

If people upload an illegal video you won't get in trouble for watching it but the person who posted it will get in trouble for posting it.
