Chapter 1
Skycat around nervously, she was lost.She knew that Rhauxxus would be furious with her when he found out that she had snuck out on her own. As one of the few winged ones left, she wasn't allowed to be out on her own. Now she was lost in a swamp, she heard something behindhere and whirled around. She saw a light greenish swamp creature looking at her and backed off. Then took off running, terrified and ran straight into Rhauxxus, who saw the swamp creature staring at him.
"You! What are you doing here Finnblade?!"he snarled and Skycat cringed as she saw the furious look on her mentor and protector's face.
"We, need your help. The Wylde-Skygang needs your help. We, need a leader. She seems pretty qualified, even though she's young and inexperienced." The one called Finn Blade as he reverted to him Robot form.
"Absolutely not, I left that life a long time ago, and I refuse to let any of my kind go back to it." He said, obviously even madder by this.
"I think it should be my choice whether or not I accept." Skycat said, her temper rising.
"If you do accept it, don't come crying to me for help." Rhauxxus said.
"Rhauxxus, please, you can't keep me and my brother hidden away forever. I just need to find out things for myself, and learn from my own mistakes and not someone elses." Skycat said, her tiger eye colored optics meeting his green ones, and he saw the yearning for adventure in her optics.
"All right then, but I'm coming with you." he said.
"But I thought..." Finnblade started.
"I promised her father that I'd keep an eye on her, no matter what path she chose. And I'm not about to break that promise." Rhauxxus said, looking at him.
"I... I understand, and hope oneday, I can be as wise as you are." FinnBlade said.
"Skycat, come, we must get ourselves ready for your meeting with Optimus Primal." Rhauxxus said as he walked away and Skycat followed.
"Oh, and Rhaux." FinnBlade said.
"What is it Finn." Rhauxxus said, annoyed and being called by that name.
"You haven't changed a bit." Finnblade said and took off running as Rhauxxus stood there shaking with anger.

Devril got up as Rhauxxus came in. "Come on Devril, help us pack." He said.
"Pack? Pack for what?" Devril asked as he stretched his liger form with a yawn.
"Let's just say, thanks to your sister, I am once again joining the Wylde-sky gang." Rhauxxus said, looking annoyed and Devril glared and Skycat.
"What did you do?" he asked.
"Just agreed to be the new leader of the team." She said and Devril looked at her like she was insane. "What. I know you don't like the idea, but we can't remain hidden forever, and we can't remain nuetral forever. If the Decepticons had found us, they would've used our friendship against us to force us to side with them, and force us to do things we definantaly don't want to do." Skycat said.
"She's right, Decepticon leaders have been known to do things such as that. I've known many situations that that had happened to." Rhauxxus said, shaking his head.
"So this was bound to happen sooner or later?" Devril asked, reverting to his robot form.
"Yeah, and better the Maximals or Autobots than the Decepticons and Predicons." Rhauxxus said.
"Okay then, I guess I'm coming along too then." Devril said, raising to his full height of 25 feet, his orange body reflecting the moons rays.
"So, you've made up your mind?" Skycat asked.
"Yep, and I'm going to act as if it's one big adventure." Devril said.
"Well Devril, this is the biggest adventure you'll ever be on." Rhauxxus said. "And I hope both of you make it out alive."
"I've considered the risks from what you've told me, and I'm willing to take them. I, after all, take after my father." Skycat said.
"Indeed you do. He was a good bot, but you have your mother's optics." Rhauxxus said.
"I get that alot." Skycat said. "And wasn't my mother an ex-Decepticon?"
"Yeah, she was one of the cases where someone close to her was used to manipulate her by the Decepticons."
"Who was used to manipulate her?"
"You were Skycat. You had just been born when they found you and used you against your mother. That's how you got that scar on your left leg. You're lucky it didn't cripple you, and lucky you don't remember what all they did to you." Rhauxxus said and she looked down ashamed, but he gently put his hand under her chin and forced her to look him in the eyes. "But that's what's made you strong of spirit, and don't ever let that change."
"I won't, and I'll try not to make any mistakes that would get me and the team killed or put in the position my mom was put in. I promise." Skycat said.
"I'll hold you to that promise." Rhauxxus said, then sniffed the air and reverted to his winged wolf form. "Skycat, Devril, run." He said, unable to keep the worry out of his voice.
Skycat and Devril nodded and tookoff, leaving everything they had known behind. Rhauxxus leapt in the air and tackled a cat Predicon that came out of nowhere. "Thought I couldn't smell you didn't ya? Now, where are the others?"
"Right behind you." Hissed a voice and he whirled around.
"Slash." he growled, low and angry.
"You're still mad at me for what happened at the village. Don't worry, you'll be joining the rest of your people soon enough, then you won't have a grudge to hold against me anymore." She said as she circled his red winged-wolf form.
"I'd like to see you try it." Finnblade growled as his electodaggers touched her back and she stiffened.
“How’d you get here so fast?” Rhauxxus said as he continued to hold down the youngest of Slash’s team.
“Lets’ just leave it as I know the scent of these Decepti-cats a little too well.” Finnblade said, his blue optics narrowing. “Now, I suggest that you and your team get out of here before the main force comes.” Finnblade said as he put his daggers away and Rhauxxus let the kid up.
“You guys win, for now. Next time you won’t be so lucky.” Slash said as she and her team took off.
“I don’t doubt that. Don’t worry Rhauxxus. Optimus Primal and the rest of the team were on their way here and sent me ahead to tell you. Skycat and Devril should have met with him by now. Let’s go see how that went.” Finnblade said.
