I don't really get autobot figures(and my brother who does always buys the Leader Primes) so Voyager is a pass for me.

Love Darkmount's "Pickaxe of Doom", but as Burn said the ankle joint is very weak looking. Maybe its transformed wrong (like they never have done that before )

Seeing that MP Grimlock is coming stateside I'm going to wait to see if MP Thundercracker comes over too. I've been back and forth on wether to buy the Takara version.

Wow...I was excited, hoping it would be a TRU exclusive like Perceptor and the Insecticons. I've been wanting him forever, but can't spare an arm for the Takara reissue, and can't find a satisfactory original. Maybe with a little energon and a lot of luck, I can grab this one on HTS.

Yuck, that new Voyager Optimus looks pretty bad, can't hold a candle to the first voyager. I love Jetblade's colors but i don't think i like that mold. Hailstorm looks like he has a cool face but i have to see more of him to tell if he is that cool; but interesting none the less.

As am I. I'm very disappointed that they could make figs that turn from robot to vehicle to weapon to armor and back again, but they can't make a figure turn from a robot to a vehicle to a combiner limb.

I love it too how they don't have hands either! Hasbro is pissing me way off this year, its a love hate thing!

I'm very confused: a new mold or Chromia repaint? Hopefully the pictures we've seen are misleading.

Hmm... Some of these figures look great, others not so much. Figures like Drift, who I've been waiting for since Wave 4 of Universe when he was rumored to come out in Wave 7 is a welcomed addition to everybody's collection.

Hailstorm looks fantastic, as does Insecticon and Breacher. I even like the look of Sidearm Sideswipe, it looks to be an overall improvement on the OG mold. I like most, if not all Legends figures so Rampage, Ravage, Longhaul and Sandstorm I will most likely pick up.

I couldn't care less about the 3rd bike. The first two are just awful, why would anyone thing the third would be some sort of saving grace? IMO, all bike Transformers have been a waste of space, save maybe TFTM1 Arcee, E-Arcee and Wreck-Gar. I think it'll take FP to get me to like one again when they do Collector.

Generations has a lot of promise, like I said with characters like Drift in the line up and his obvious repaint into his old Deception deco. I'd really like to say that Deluxe Ironhide is something I'll pick up, but it looks very poor. Darkmount looks good but the feet are a buzz kill to me. Looks like they did what they wanted to do with him, as they would have wanted to do with Galvatron. I actually like the new Deluxe BB mold, so I'll probably pick that up too. Lastly, I'm sure everyone who's picked up Gentai Thrust might be a little PO'd, but myself I'm happy. It looks better then they Takara version and we'll defiantly see Gentai Dirge and hopefully with out his lightning bolts either. Come on, more Generations figures!

Power Core Combiners so far are a humongous disappointment. Most of the scouts look far to underdeveloped and the drones concept on the 5 packs really puts me off. I don't like the look of Bombshock's Gestalt mode at all, and I think even less of the Aerialbot Gestalt. I was, for a small moment, excited to see a 5 car team but I saw that they are the "Rallybots" and not the "Stunticons" (sure, we'll see a repaint eventually) I have a pretty good feeling they'll be as lack luster as the others, and most defiantly not Menasor. I will say thatout of all that I do like the idea that any commander figure could be a Gestalt Torso. The 2-pack PCCs looks great in Vehicle Mode, but looks pretty bad in robot mode. With the exception of Huffer and Smolder, and I guess Searchlight. Big swing and a miss with the introduction of this line so far.

I plan on picking up Leader SS and Battle Phuk'd Prime. Creative way of using the open mouth design and the hooks. Voyager Prime is pretty sharp too.

War For Cybertron Prime and BB look pretty good, but without better pictures of Megatron I can't really comment.

But, out of all of this I'm still excited to see what else we'll see at say, Botcon and what I'll get to play with at TFCon (last few years they have new figures out for fans to try out)

I would agree that it looks good, and I'd even say there's a chance I'll get it, but when is enough, enough? Ultimately these things are going to be sitting on a shelf and I don't really need 25 of the same thing all huddled together. Either that or I should just set up a display of team movie Optimus vs. team movie Bumblebee playing football or something.

I think what it really boils down to is I'm fine with them pumping out OPs & BBs when they're easy passes, but it sucks when they actually look cool and I know I'll probably cave and buy my 5th, 6th, or 7th version of that movie character. Save the cool for something else...

I hear ya. I bought both Leader Primes, and I have one voyager Prime with BD paint, so I think I'm somewhat justified in getting this one...

Interesting, but all the new PCCs look like they have combining pegs on their shoulders... Maybe I'll get some of the five-packs just to test that theory.

Also, glad I didn't bought MP Grimlock on the first release, crown plus basic paint scheme: this version looks worth buying!

Ironhide is terrible, imo.
BBBumblebee is surprisingly GREAT. I hate to say it, but I'm going to have to buy him.

Elita-1... I'll buy her because I want the sister trio, and because she was in the movie...sort of..., and the fact that they do combine, but I'm PISSED that we waited and waited and waited and all we got was a repainted Chromia with a remolded HEAD. (That's it? That's all we're getting after waiting all this time? Are you kidding me?! Dammit!)

Sea Spray - Plays up an aquatic theme that Hasbro wishes it could do more with. Has flip out flippers on feet, has scuba tanks. Scout class Breacher attaches to Sea Spray.

Payload - Yellow repaint of Long Haul
Battle Blades Optimus Prime - New Voyager class w/ the Matrix of Leadership, has snap out swords, and tank canisters that pop off for weapons.

Sea Spray, you still suck.
Ratchet, you've been whored way too many times, it's time to retire.
Payload, you're ugly as sin.
BBOP is the one that really surprised me. A very, very nice figure, especially for a Voyager Class. Won't surpass the Leader Class in my book, but dang does he impress.

Starscream, I want you in my collection, YESTERDAY. (I do worry about one thing, however...is that GOLD plastic I see on him? And in important places? Egads...)

Optimus redeco/remold, meh. I'm not a big fan of battle damage, I don't care for the hooks (though they seem to be less of a problem than the original's swords), and without the transforming gun, this is a wasted chance in my mind.

Autobot Drift - As seen in the leaked red car prototype. Has swords and many points of articulation.
Thrust - Redeco of Takara's Gentei Thrust, without the chrome or lightning bolts.
Darkmount - Triplechanger homage to Straxus. Changes from tank to artillery base and has his signature pick weapon.

Drift is awesome. Bought.
Thrust? Now?? Crap. (Too pissed to buy him after the BotCon/Classics crapfest.)
Darkmount...ugly. I just can't find anything to like about him. Feh.

Bruticus, now officially called Bombshock. Main figure is scout-sized with 4 legends-sized unique limbs. 5 figures combine, the spring-loaded vehicles automatically convert to form the limbs. The Aerialbots version is called Skyburst.
Any scout-class figure from this line can combine with the limbs. Each scout has 2 different heads; the combiner head and regular head.
2-Packs contain one commander figure and one mini-con figure.

Anyone else think that the new voyager prime looks like a knock-off of the leader figure? It looks like it uses pretty much the same transformation as the leader class...

Aside from that, I think that this is is going to be a milestone for Transformers. There are so many good figures comming out this year, I can hardly wait until they are released!

Yes, all the basic figures have the capacity for becoming combiner torso's. Go watch the video for the ROTF legends figures and listen to the conversation in the background between a Hasbro rep and a fan. The fan asks if the 2 pack basics have alternate heads for forming combiners with the 5 pack limb components and the representative say yes and proceeds to show him. All off camera but you can hear it all.

As far as any outrage goes, it should be directed at the first two figures. You can fully expect the combined "form" to look equally as phuct as either mold, if not more.

Wow. I am SO disappointed withe the Elita 1 Figure. I guess three different molds for three different characters was a bit much to hope for; I can only hope that the screen capture was somehow off and that that dark purple/maroon isn't her real color. She's supposed to be bright purple to match Arcee's bright pink and Chromia's bright blue!!

Still working on my 2 Chromias and Arcee (heh), a few questions:

1) Wasn't Elita-1 supposed to be called Flare-up?

2) Is it possible this image is just a stand in?

3) Wasn't it said before (months ago) that the third bike would be a repaint of Chromia? The news of this figure semes familiar.

I'll get thus figure regardless I just hope the combined mode looks good.
