I'm wondering what Takara could do to differentiate their Devy with Hasbro's seeing as I think Hasbro's colour sceme already looks pretty accurate. Maybe it'll be more show accurate instead of Toy accurate.

They might have Mixmaster pointing the other way to keep the G1 accuracy they are going for? Just kidding, that wont be happening, hence why I have no clue what would be so different aside from a few paint apps for the individual robot modes.

Also, if Chuck is reading, I think this kind of dispells the rumours of the bots being released individually. In the end, did any of your contacts' predictions play out correctly?

Please do not take this the wrong way, I am just really curious about where those predictions came from and what they were based on.

I like how the metallic yellow looks on Silverbolt, but aside from that, I think I'll stick with the Hasbro Version, IMHO they're very similar, certainly not different enough to justify import prices, but nice for those who want as much G1 accuracy as possible

And especially with the case of Silverbolt, extra G1 deco works on this figure who's sculpt and alt mode is going for the G1 look. I am more tempted to go all out G1 deco on silverbolt more than say Motormaster simply because the later's alt mode is not G1.

So far all of them did. He has a source that's in contact with an Asian market dealer I think. I don't ask a lot of questions. That's a good rule for life.
