Considering the production times involved, Takara was probably crafting those parts before any Rollers were produced - the prototype might even be built around a Rook test shot.Kurona wrote:I'm kinda surprised they're using Rook to show it off rather than Roller, considering Rook was never released in Japan.

Unfortunately, I just realized that Nosecone's fists weren't redone so he can't hold his gun properly. Ugh.
So good news, bad news.

Add that Ground Man is one of only 4 Robot Masters that can actually transform into a vehicle (the others are Turbo Man from MM7, Galaxy Man from MM9 and Nitro Man from MM10), and you got a kitbash idea ready to go
RevTibe wrote:Seeing the new parts on Rook really highlights how clever the retool was; Nosecone winds up feeling much more distinct than he actually is.
I don't think the universe is ready to contain the awesome that would be a Mega Rock Man (forgot this is the UW thread ) and TF mash-up just yet. I for one am ready to give it a go!Wolfman Jake wrote:JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Wolfman Jake wrote:RiddlerJ wrote:Twin Twist redeco! Give him two drills!

If only Cosmos were Deluxe sized! However, we might be able to cheat a bit with Tengu Man. He kinda has a slightly more jet-like form when he's flying around. Use the Deluxe Groove mold for Nitro Man, the Dragstrip mole for Turbo Man, and the Unite Warriors Nosecone mold for Drill Man, and all we would need is a torso that could approximate one of the man Wily Machines in the series. A Legends sized Cosmos mold as Galaxy Man could be the sixth, optional team member, a la for Scrounge with Hasbro's Combiner Wars Computron set. Capcom! Hasbro! Takara Tomy! Make this happen!
Yeah, I feel like that's been a theme with Computron! Both versions have a lot (and different) things to offer, only entirely satisfying option would probably be to buy both (but money!).carytheone wrote:I just want to have my cake and eat it too.
