Takara's is just as half assed. I dont see how giving the figure a sword changes the mold. Its not like the sword is integral to the G1 hasbro figure, he didnt even come with one.

This vehicle mode looks amazing and they done a really good job on the retool tbh.
Only problem is it looks a bit... bland, but reprolabels are sure to fix that up.

There won't be one - they've unveiled theirs already, they're not giving him any changes, other than the aforementioned, unrevealed sword(s)

Stu@ as people have said, we've seen what takara are giving us with fort and aside from a more anime accurate cerebros/fortress, I think you'll be disappointed in what you find.

Going to go on a limb and say they'll reveal him within a month of SDCC. That's usually when the big-name exclusives pop up, right?

I remember someone saying that the knee joints couldn't do 90 bends on metro - or something similar to that, wonder if they're new, or if that wasn't the case in the first place

It definitely will, the ramps are connected to his shoulders and chest, so, the clearances should allow

It's nice to finally get a clear shot of the headsculpt on Optimus. Looks good. That Blurr is growing on me too. I hope I can afford them all lol
