Was anyone else aware that we were getting TWO Leader class figures in the Constructicons? I'm very curious to see Overload's robot mode.

Oh yeah, it was teased some time ago. 2 leaders, 4 voyagers, 2 deluxes

Damn. Maybe I need to pay more attention to the news here and less attention to my Pharmacology text books...

Bumblejeep would be neat, but once he's done, do Blitzwing and avoid doing the Beewun cast. Most of them already got Siege/Earthrise toys.

Did she? I thought she was roughly the same height, not enough to make her a different size class, at least considering she was the same height as Dropkick who had two Deluxes.

Shatter's car mode figure was also a deluxe. So this figure being a deluxe will also keep her robot mode size consistent between her own figures. Otherwise, you'd end up with two very differently sized shatters. She does also turn into a car in the movie anyway, so she can't be that big without size-changing shenanigans.

I think we may still get the 6 legged Overload. If you look at the diagram of how the constructicons connect, you can see that he actually only connects to Scavenger, Long Haul and Rampage. So all he really needs is a very solid torso for a good central waist connection, the robot legs can just end up as back kibble in combined mode, or maybe intertwine with Scavenger for some extra stability.



Honestly, I just love that piece and concept art and really really love non-anthropomorphic movie bots, and want to see it in 3D form.

Don't forget, the SS VW Bumblebee toy is tiny, like 4.5 inches high and 3 inches wide.

After what they did with Hightower and Scrapmetal, basing them on smaller toys or concept art, I fully expect Overload to be the centaur man styled bot

So exited and Can't wait to see what these guys look like. I hope that Bee has the same stuff from the other Studio Series toys which includes the blade, the cannon, and the mask. I am looking forward to Roadbuster the most. I hope Shatter's head design is right this time. I am concerned about Overload. If he's going to be based on his art design, I don't think he'll be easy to transform. Just look at how many legs he has in the art design.

Prime and Ironhide were pretty close in height in the films so I think their Studio Series figs are pretty in scale.

Well, if you look at the Legends Class figures from ROTF movie that form Devastator, Overload makes up the lower part of Devastator's torso that the legs attach to and thus explains why it's Leader Class. And considering Overload is a Komatsu HD465-7 articulated dump truck, its length in alt mode probably helped put it in Leader Class.

Fellow Seibertronians! Many of you are eagerly awaiting the new Transformers Studio Series Leader Class Shockwave and Voyager Class Mixmaster, and thanks to Capcomkai on Instagram, we have images for both new figures! Shockwave is shown to have similar engineering to Studio Series ROTF Megatron, as well as some beautiful looking silver paint and weathering on him, akin to Studio Series Grimlock.















In hand images of Studio Series Mixmaster have also surfaced, but the source of said photos is currently unknown. These photos confirm how Devastator's head will look and work, and it is a nice touch to have it be revealed by opening up the cab and hood in a movie-accurate way.













Both figures are expected to be released January 2020, and can be preordered here.

Shockwave's still looking identical to the CGI model, it's incredible. Can't wait to have him!

Mixmaster's looking good too, I'm glad they added the red to Devastator's face.

Thanks to fellow Seibertronian Lord Chaonix we've learned that TonTon on YouTube has posted a video review for the new Transformers Studio Series #54 Voyager Megatron. With a shiny silver paintjob and several design cues taken from his masterpiece incarnation this is a figure sure to be prized by fans of the movies, fans of Megatron, fans of well designed utterly evil looking transforming puzzle robots everywhere. Although most of him appears to be new his chest seems to be a redeco of the Revenge of the Fallen Voyager Megatron. Is this vile villain with a penchant for tearing Autobots asunder on your radar or are you topped out on Megatrons at this point? (As if that were possible). Ok, after seeing that review I'm disliking the new Studio Series Megatron a bit less, but I still can't get over the reused chest. I hope they release a variant with a new chest at some point. Maybe an exclusive?

1) shockwave looks a heck of a lot nicer in hand, nice!

2) mixmaster is looking good, and i am stoked for Devy to be coming together! The transformation matches the movie too, splendid!

3) Megatron looks better in that review, but still, why the wrong chest?
