Let's think about this for long time what does hasbro mean to someone company that makes games and toys for who kids little kids 4 to 10 year olds if you want adult transformers buy third party figures and masterpiece figures while hasbro is doing there job what they are paid to do to make toys for little kids no matter how they look because there toys are aimed and make for little kids not full grown adults how successful had rescuer hero transformers been selling for little kids that are made for kids not adults these toys are your answer hasbro makes toys for kids not adults adults buy toys that bikes, jetskies, boats, fast cars bows and arrows those are toys for adults not kids

Just because the toys are for kids does not mean that all of them have to be junk though, we got pretty fine stuff in the past toy lines.

What? Why would it be? This is the TV show line. That's always a separate line from the CHUG lines.

Machinima's CW and TR season's were based off Generations figures to.

That being said, I hope their speculation is dead wrong and that this Cybervese is separate from Generations and that Generations continues on with even better quality then what we've seen with POTP Leader and Voyager Class figures so far.

LOL at it being another "stand in". as you can see from my sig, I've got nothing but Shockwave stand in's over the years and that's not even including the CW legends class Shockwave's I've troop build a few years ago.

It's kinda getting tired though since it's shouldn't be that hard to make a decent Generations Voyager class Shockwave.

It is. Their article goes against what Hasbro has told us and all they have done is spread misinformation. Its not like they have any evidence of any kind to go against what we already know.

Also, yes, the TFormers article is probably not worth reading into very much. Always interesting to see where others' thoughts go with this stuff, even if it's likely a case of thinking too hard - guilty of that myself sometimes!

Seems like five lines is going to be a bit much.

That said, understanding that at it's core, these are still just for kids and that we have Generations, I'm not concerned. My kid will probably want these.

And if you consider the cyberbattalion toys at Walgreens right now, like Prime, Bee and Jetfire, we have 5 lines at the same time right now anyways.

Thanks for correcting us. But to be honest, I dont think that really means it wont be doable to have all this product at once. Stores will accomodate if it sells, like they did with Star Wars and Wrestling figures. People were worried that with RID, a movie line and Generations, stores would stop stocking figures. But everyoe in the US is currently enjoying their wave 2 POTP toys so its not like having 3 big lines changed anything. This line will basically replace whatever RID toys you see right now on shelves, so the shelfspace is already accounted for.

Anyways, keep an eye out here guys, I have more new stuff from this line to post!

The official Transformers Facebook page is now showing 3d renders of the first wave of Transformers Cyberverse figures. We see a few additions to the ones we already knew of ealier today. I have also set up a handy guide showing which characters and price points constitute each class so far.

Scout Class: Similar size to the scout class of old but that is where the similarities end. These are all based on an action gimmick and, from the image shown, it does not seem like any of them fully transform into their alt modes. That would definitely explain the price point being only $8 as compared to the current Legends class seen in Generations. We can see Bumblebee, Megatron, Grimlock and Starscream below.

Warrior Class: Deluxe sized figures which seem simpler than the previous Warrior class toys we got in RID. They each have an action gimmick. We can see Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, Shockwave and Starscream below. $15 Price point.

Ultra Class: Voyager size wth simplified tranformation and focus on gimmick. Very similar to RID Power Surge Class. We can see Bumblebee, Grimlock and Starscream below. $20 Price point.

Ultimate Class: Leader size but with simplified articulation and complexity, similar to the bigger Cyber Battalion figures we have seen in the past. These however will include an added action gimmick. We can see Optimus Prime and Megatron below. $30 Price point.

While renders do may not be optimal to get a good sense of how these will look, this image below contains the actual finished products of Ultra Starscream, Scout Megatron, Ultimate Optimus (showing his Matrix gimmick) and Warrior Bumblebee.

Not too bad so far. Grimlock's dino mode is a little goofy-looking, but I like Shockwave's tank mode. I kind of like the idea of each figure having a "special move", too.

The classes of figures have me confused with me mainly sticking to the legends/deluxe/voyager types but some of the figures look good whilst the others are uggghh. I'd even say some of these look better than RID15 and POTP versions. If the Optimus had a flap/fold to actually have hands not surrounded by kibble it might have been a decent Optimus but not much point when they haven't put any effort into Megatron.
