I can share thoughts about Ratchet. he will 100% not fit with logical release schedules because as we saw each year now (this will be the 3th year I think) the toy itself may be scheduled for a mid year release, and be available in international markets at around that time, but Walgreens will only stock him during their holiday season.

Weapon: Electro-Sword
Good point. Then the numbers make sense for him to be a 20s or 30s designation. Curse you Walgreens!

mordhelm wrote:So we have at least 2 figures totally unaccounted for. Based on this being a 1yr line and the astrotrain rumor being december I am going to say that Astrotrain and Apeface are WFC Pt2 not Siege.

I am going to throw a guess out there that following are going to happen:
Rumble and Frenzy (S32 or 33)
Exclusive Lancer
Exclusive Ratchet

So S32 is Rumble and Frenzy
S34 S36 are Brunt and Refracktor

S26 S27 and S37 are Skywarp, Firestormer, Lancer, and Ratchet.

The only thing that gives me some pause on this theory is that Ratchet is a pretty late release, almost makes sense for him to be in the 40s.

Anyone else wanna share thoughts?

Welcome to the ranks of the numbers obsessed, my friend, I've done a few posts like this since the code website went up. Here's what I've got to add to your basework:
-The numbering for Siege extends to S51, according to the code site
-Since the code site doesn't have entries for any figures from the Master pricepoints, we know that S44-47 should be more Masters, unless the 35th anniversary Siege figures have standard numbers and no lore, in which case this is them (I think they'll have a separate numbering system though, like how Selects Camo Megs is separate).

In addition, as I was writing this, I pulled up said site to double-check stuff and I realized that if you click on the files for unreleased figures, it tells you what month they come out, and from whether the background shows either Prime or Megs, what faction the figure is. That second part isn't just guesswork, I checked the file backgrounds for figures who's numbers we know and the factions match every time (for example, Soundwave and Screamer's numbers show Megs, Jetfire and Omega's show Prime). With that in mind, we can determine the following:
S26: Autobot, July release
S27: Decepticon, July release
S34: Autobot, July release (which also means that Brunt and Refraktor have to be S36 and S37)
S48: Decepticon, December release
S49: Autobot, December release
S50: Decepticon, December release
S51: Decepticon, December release

Granted, those release dates may not exact, as the file for Omega claims he'll be out in July, not August, but I think this means it's safe to say that either Hasbro is putting out 4 exclusives in December, or there's more retail content after Impactor. Either way, there's definite room for Apeface and Astrotrain in here.

My predictions? S34 is Ratchet, and comes out more around August/September, S26 and S27 are the Firestormer Pack and Skywarp, respectively, with the correct date as that would line up with last year's Prime Wars exclusives, some combination of S48, S50, and S52 are Apeface and Astrotrain with a mystery friend (Snapdragon?), and S49 is possibly Lancer, and their dates are all correct (the site correctly says October for Wave 4, so the December date should be deliberate).

I really don't understand why people would want a giant Astrotrain. It's not like they could ever make him big enough to to fit more than a couple 'Masters inside him. I'd rather have a Leader figure that's got big, complex transformations, but the bot is only about Voyager size.

It's kind of interesting that Barricade isn't labeled as Decepticon Barricade like you usually get with figures who's names are just regular words.

Now, I'm not really sure what they are doing with Astrotrain in regards to what they are doing with the armor of course, but I think it makes sense for him to be a leader in this line, since he'll be a little bit bigger than a voyager like say Starscream as he should be, at least based on the cartoon model.

Who said he'd have armor? I realize the first 3 Leaders have armor, but only because it fits their character, not because there's some sort of mandate for all Leaders to have armor like in PotP. There are no class gimmicks in this line which is why we can have regular Deluxe figures along side Weaponizers and a Duocon or a Triplechanger (and "quadruplechanger" in Soundwave) mixed with some regular Voyagers. There's no reason to assume Astrotrain will have armor, he'll just be a big figure. Thought I doubt he'll be much bigger than the already large TR Voyager Astrotrain.

i dunno. kinda weird to me to have Astrotrain way bigger than Blitzwing and Octane. That whole Astrotrain as Decepticon shuttle thing just seemed really silly (though the whole thing with triple changers with realistic alt-modes raises too many scale issues anyways). Particularly the infamous scene in the 86 movie where frickin' Devastator combines while inside. How big would Astrotrain's shuttle need to be in toy form to have his CW toy fit inside? :P

Springer here looks like he's wearing a bad christmas decoration on his left side for some reason.

It may be a straight Prowl repaint, like its "Aligned" version from the "Timelines" line. Still I hope they'll go for something more akin to its movie counterpart.

Gotta admit, that Omega Supreme is VERY impressive. But I'm not sure if I'll ever buy it.

My must will be Jetfire, Starscream, and Thundercracker. Also, Reflector. That's the only ones so far as official pictures have been shown.

I'm looking forward the Horrorcons reveals. I do hope that their headmasters will be the same size as the Siege Targetmasters/Micromasters. I don't care about Titan Return compatibility. Let the Horrorcons give good head. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Do you have any of those Micromasters/Targetmasters? That size is kinda big to be turning into heads, the bodies would have to be leader sized at least I think.

Do you have any of those Micromasters/Targetmasters? That size is kinda big to be turning into heads, the bodies would have to be leader sized at least I think.

I have just a set and for a voyager, those head would be perfect. Sure, the bot will have a slightly bigger head, but it will be closer to the originals. Furthermore, the TR voyagers have the poles gimmick to make the head "bigger". And finally, the Horrorcons heads MUST be triple-changing and become monster heads too. Thus the size increase.

If you say so. They look way too big to sit on a Voyager to me. And I forgot those 'poles' even existed cos on the figures I had/have like TR Megatron they looked silly so I never use them, and not like a larger head at all. Not sure what fiction reasons would have to be for those guys to have larger little people turn into their heads. I would think if they keep the size they could increase it by using a part on the body similar in idea to those 'poles' maybe but different like on some of the smaller figures. So maybe Snapdragons buddy only firms the top half of the dragon head while the lower jaw is folded out from with the dragons neck. Maybe. I dunno. Wait and see what hasbro does I guess.

I hope you're prepared for disappointment ;) To be fair all they have to be is triple changers, everything else is negotiable.

As for Astrotrain, I'm expecting the leader Class price point to justify the parts count to make splendid looking alt modes and a slightly larger voyager bot mode as others have said

Overquoting a bit just to say that most likely, the headmasters of the horrorcons will be normal Titan Masters. And for the beast heads, the Titan Master will just make "half" of the head, while the other half will be filled in by a "helmet" similar to what was done for Titan Return leaders.

Hasbro gets stuck in the size class gimmick rut, so I'm predicting armor for Astrotrain so they can fudge the mass shifting of his shuttle mode. If he's also a triple changer his base alt mold will be a choo choo, then a slight transformation and armor will make up a larger shuttle.

I think you should be referring Soundwave's 3rd mode as a cassette player since boom boxes tend to be bigger then that.
My question is, was that an intended mode or a happy accident?

I'm going with happy accident for both cassette player and lamp post. Lamp post may have been slightly less accidental though. Anyway, it's not much of a stretch to turn a blocky robot that turns into a blocky space ship into a block. If he didn't have so many G1 cassette player design queues it may not look so convincing.

Edit: after really studying the pics I agree with others, his arms were removed at the mushroom pegs.

I wonder if SIEGE Laserbeak/Ravage are comparable with the G1/MP tapes.

Probably smaller?

It's be cool if they were, but I'm also thinking smaller. They seem to have slightly different proportions as well.

its not a casette player either, since there are no speakers. it's a microcasette tape recording device. But I felt boombox was the shortest catch all term for people to get the idea in a headline.

And anyways, unlike every single 84 release, Soundwave is the only Takara toy who's not a copy of a real life object made to transform, and instead something made just for the toy. There is no real life counterpart to Soundwave's alt mode.
