Finally got around to opening and playing with Ironhide. I really like the figure ... far superior to the CW version. But man, those side leg panels pop off if you even look at it funny. Sixgun is neat but doesn't quite feel like a $20 figure.

Well, he isn't. He's a 20$ Accessory pack that double as a figure!

Is it wrong I legitimately hope that future Generations lines try to retain even a fraction of the added 5mm ports Siege introduced just so the weaponizers and things like that can retain play value for later? :-?

Don't worry Red, my buddies over at Reprolabels and Toyhax will get you looking just right. I just hope getting 3 reflector figures won't be too much of a hassle..

Don’t worry he’s 3 per case once they’re at saturation - even online he should be pretty easy to get.

Surprisingly, I found Shockwave at Walmart today. For one, he is precisely what I have wanted from a CHUG Shockwave since 2007. His robot mode is perfect, his spaceship mode is unexpectedly good with all the add-ons attached, and his powered up mode is pretty cool too. However, he is decidedly not a Leader figure. If the Ultra class still existed, I'd say he's a fantastic Ultra, but that isn't how things worked out. Regardless, even though the value is kinda questionable, he's a magnificent figure.

Well, now that I've had time to open up the rest of the Wave 2 Deluxe Class figures I found while on vacation, I'll share a few of my thoughts. I like all three figures. Ironhide is my favorite. He's at last the Generations G1-styled Ironhide we've needed for over 10 years. He's a good bit taller than most of the contemporary Deluxes from Thrilling 30 onward, and is much taller than his Universe 2008 mold. I do wish his side/leg flaps wouldn't fall off so easily, but that's really the ONLY problem I have with the figure.

Chromia is pretty solid. I like her sculpt and her similarity to the rest of the Elita One squadron, though she does have enough remolding to distinguish her. Her greebling isn't so bad in person, but it still is a bit more "extra" than it needed to be, especially when compared to the likes of Moonracer, Firestar, and Greenlight. I'm still trying to fiddle with her Transformation to find a good Targetmaster fan-mode for Orthia (or Elita Infin1te) to wield so that she can still be a part of the team.

Six Gun is pretty much everything I expected, after having experienced Cog. He "completes" Generations Metroplex quite well, even if the reds on both aren't a perfect match. I've got the SDCC version of Metroplex, so maybe the reds match better on the regular Hasbro retail version or the Takara Tomy version? At any rate, Six Gun seems solid. Nothing that pegs in seems too loose, except maybe for the legs, which was a much bigger problem on Cog, to be honest.

I'm really liking how things have been shaping up with SIEGE, and I'm more eager than ever to get the rest of the line and see what the next part of the "War for Cybertron" Trilogy has to offer.

So the Siege Wave 2 Deluxes? All these of these guys are pretty darn amazeballs!

Ironhide may be my favorite figure of the line so far. He is so fun, I love the armored truck mode, the heft to his size, the weapon, everything is great!

Prowl is a pleasant surprise. The feet are a little weird, but he is really good too. But he has some troubles with the weaponizers.

Sixgun is really good too. I think I prefer Cog slightly to him, but his upper body makes a great jetback for any figure with a 5mm port on the back.

Panels on the legs slip off sometimes, but not consistently, so I'm not concerned.

Left hip is a bit loose, but it hasn't drastically affected him. And I enjoy him far more than those little issues take away from him

Doesn't sound terrible. The panels on mine fell off if you coughed in the same room, and the hips are so loose he has trouble standing on his own. Its so bad, that I just tossed the panels in my junk/accessory bin and gave the figure to my boys. It really sucked too, as this was one of the few siege figures I was actually looking forward to.

Shame really, He is awesome and a great figure. I now look forward to finding Ratchet, this is a mold worth getting twice for him. Same with Prowl and the other 3 Datsun based figures

Yup my Ironhide leg panels were also super loose. Came off with little pressure. I put some nail polish on it and it's ever so slightly better.

So I got my soundwave and cassettes today from hasbro pulse; they shipped everything separately despite ordering them together; the cassetticons are so adorable they immediately bypass any criticism I might have towards them :x

The best part is that there is a pretty easy ratbat somewhere in the laserbeak mold, here's to more of these little guys

I cannot get a convincing Hulk fist.

There's a secret peg-hole in the cockpit - which is made of two parts, it can fold down and plug into the extra peg in the fist part, and the thigh nubs act as thumbs. Admittedly it does depend on where the hole on the arm is, hound and sideswipe are the only two I could get it to work on

I just opened up the Air Strike Patrol and found a bit of a flaw on Visper (the black one) concerning the way the cockpit is attached. On mine, the metal pin connecting it to the body is not pushed in all the way through, part of it sticks out. So, not only would the cockpit get caught on it when transforming the little guy, if forced into position the pin scratches the insides. :(

Why a metal pin?! :BANG_HEAD:
