If only Floro Dery hadn't designed Arcee to be a Princess Leia Barbie doll with next to no altmode kibble/altmode integration.

I've ranted about it before, but HasTak engineers need to implement better 'mass control' when designing fembots. Yes, I know that screen accurate models are usually quite slim and round-limbed as opposed to the more cubic-looking dudes but they just need to spread the overall plastic mass better.

Someone needs to ask Hasbro why third-party toy makers make their characters so much better than they do.

In fairness, though, the only real competition 3P have for a G1 deluxe Arcee is Delicate Warrior. And, while I did like her at the time, she has the old "omit the rear end of the vehicle" problem as well as a non-standard face.

Titans Return Arcee is a pretty good fembot. I don't need fembots to be that sexy.

Yes they are. The Product Numbers are the same. (E7462)

So this thing is supposedly going to be a Amazon exclusive.

Well that is...actively infuriating, because not only was I excited by the possibility of the Amazon listing being SG Prime (which I still want and now have to hope will show up later somehow), but it conveys the message that Hasbro thinks that selling the CORPSE of G1 Optimus is more important than the still-living version of ANY OTHER OPTIMUS that would actually REQUIRE the title of "Alternate Universe OP". All the brownie points they earned by releasing Galaxy Upgrade OP (i.e. a Generations update/version of the Prime that I actually grew up with) have now been rendered null and void.

I would love not just Shattered Glass Prime to make fans own a version of the character without paying for the expensive Classics or MP versions, but I'm up for G2 Optimus Prime (with some retooling and a few color differences to not have the cab be identical), and I also want a Pepsi Prime (with a different trailer) as well as Fire Guts theme

Arcee should pull a Bulkhead and her Prime design become her default. It is by far a better design that actually puts her alt mode into her robot mode.

Guys. I'm about to show you something that may turn us all around on the idea of this dead Prime.

I just came across this post on The Allspark:
Someone asked about a possible label set for this on the reprolabels facebook group. Another member replied that it should have blue screens of death for the trailer monitors, dead battery warnings and low fuel light stickers. And another suggested EXP1R3D for the license plate

I fully endorse that idea
I second the endorsement of this idea!

Another cool idea for labels for Dead Prime is potentially one for Armorhide

Yeah the Optimus head might get in the way of that idea but I think it's a good one regardless.

I wouldn't mind that as long as her colors were changed just to avoid redundancy with Chromia, her G1 colors or maybe the ROTF "lightish-red" colors could work.

I think D-Max would definitely agree.

Let's recap:

Why is Arcee now a 100% partsformer? Because the robot had to be As G1 accurate as possible.
What is that Amazon exclusive altenate prime figure? A G1 Prime representing him in the G1 movie.
What are the next figures featured in the movie toy line? Why the Transformers G1 movie characters of course.

In other, more typical Earthrise news, another mass retail figure in Hasbro's markets is getting the TakaraTomy Mall exclusive treatment in Japan. This time, it's Trailbreaker:

Takara Listings Show New Images for WFC EX Trailbreaker and State that Hotlink won't be an Exclusive

Postby william-james88 » Fri Jun 05, 2020 8:41 am

Motto: "'till All Are One"
Takara has many new preorders on their site Takaratomymall for multiple different Transformers lines. What may concern people outside Japan the most are the new images we have of Earthrise Trailbreaker. Also, the listings teach us that Trailbreaker will be an exclusive in Japan (the identical Hasbro release is a mainline toy) but the Netflix figures won't be. Chromia and Sideswipe can currently be obtained on Amazon Japan, shipping worldwide (well, mostly) and now we have confirmation that it will be the same for Scrapface and Hotlink. this is good news for many international buyers who have been spending more than double on e-bay for Hotlink since you'll now be able to order him on Amazon Japan. We will post a listing when we have one. Same with Scrapface who many want 3 to make a camera. However, Skipjack, from the Studio Series, will be an exclusive in Japan.

Below are links to the new TTMall listings along with images that may interest you.

ER-09 Arcee
ER-10 Scorponok
WFC-05 Scrap Face
WFC-06 Hotlink
ER EX-13 Trailbreaker
