Here are the scans I took with my crappy phone camera, I went to Best buy today, and had a cool conversation with the store manager, he said that the shipments of these figures varies from store to store, and that the exclusivity and nature of these is very limited. Be very Very lucky you got them when you did. They are releasing a few more, so earlier I had said that a restock was coming in another thread, but that restock will be the ones below. The next up will be the new and improved Voyager Metallic Prime, which is different from the Robovision version sold at Target, it is in the darker color scheme, no extra flames, but is in Metallic shinny paint..with a Shinny Metallic Thundercracker..

After that is a Metallic shinny Rescue Ratchet, and Thundercracker again..

The Manager has said he has no idea if thy will release more Megatrons or not...But he did say that judging by his experience with the SPX Lightsabers that were from Master Replicas, they got stock sporadically...and it could happen..

Keep your eyes peeled people, Best buy is an untried territory for me to watch them getting toys, so it's anyone's guess what we will see next..anyways here are the images, I confirmed with the store Manager, on the box:
oh and if you look close, I have the image of my Megatron with extra silver touches on his face..sorry about the photo quality, my phone sucks!!

You know, nowhere does it say "Metallic Voyager Optimus Prime/Thundercracker/Rescue Ratchet". It just says "Voyager Optimus Prime/Thundercracker/Rescue Ratchet". Just because they are on SE boxes doesn't mean those three are also going to be metallic. And, looking at the pictures, they don't look metallic at all. I think this is a bogus rumor based on misunderstanding.

Sportimus, skywarp stated that the pics on the "Also Available" figures were shiny, I'm guessing that the camera just does not portray this as well.

The Metallic Ratchet and Megatron do not look shiny either (thanks to the camera).

doubt theyd make two metallic versions of guys not even in the movie. the optimus looks a bit metallic

no, I confirmed it with the manager, who took me to their little side computers which are at the end of the isles, and he showed me the sku with the information of the next ones coming in, it clearly said Optimus Prime and Thundercracker.. I ofcourse couldn't snap a shot of it with my Camera Phone, they probably would have thought me an industrial espionage spy or something...but Trust me.. I'm telling you guys the truth!!!

The photos for these normal figures are always shiny. how could somebody not know that?

exactly.. and just cause they don't say metallic finish on the images doesn't mean that those guys aren't up next in their series.. from what the manager said they had alot of Thundercrackers....

My guess is they are probably an overstock from the repaints that wal-mart had or something like that...

one more thing to note, the boxes say Autobot ratchet, and Megatron.. those are the names of the characters, the super Metallic finish is down in the corner of the box.. now why would the images of the bottom of the box say Super Metallic Finish voyager Optimus Prime?? Or Super Metallic Finish Rescue ratchet?? Your buying the product that is super metallic finish, why would Hasbro advertise others that aren't in that super Metallic finish line for Best Buy??

I'm sticking to what I believe and what that Manager said to me and showed me on their inventory look up computer that was in the isles..

First post. Hello, hello.

Anyway, I was one who got a Megatron (the local best buy only had 2 of him, one of Ratchet btw). I just compared the pic of Thundercracker on the bottom to the pic on the box for Rescue Ratchet. Both pics have the same shine to them. I'm thinking those 3 are featured on the Best Buy boxes because they were the last 3 voyagers released. At least everywhere near me they were. I never saw Prime until Rescue Ratchet and Thundercracker came out.

Rescue Ratchet and Thundercracker weren't even in the movie so why would Hasbro spend good mony on repainting them with expensive shiny paint?

I don't know..... That's what the Manager said to me, and that's what I saw on the computer screen.. will someone else go to a Best Buy and have an employee look these items up!! I need a little back up and confirmation here, other wise sckeptics will never be satisfied [-(

I did see a load of Voyager Rescue Ratchet, Thundercracker, and Megatron (not Prime, for some reason) at Wal-Mart today. They were normally painted, though, and packaged in vehicle form. Like shankz suggested, they may have been advertised just because they're recent.

Plus, why would they do a metal Ratchet, and then a metal Rescue Ratchet? A bit much IMO...

As Jazzz said, Best Buy Managers aren't going to know for certain, but Hasbro do love to repaint figures, and they obviously feel that the Ratchet and Starscream molds are two of their better selling figures, they have already repainted each figure twice. Voyager Prime is another popular repaint candidate.

For all those who doubt the authenticity of this, go ahead, it is a rumour for now, so take it as that. Just do not be surprised if it turns out to be true.

actually, and congrats on the first post!! but the Voyager Optimus prime came out awhile ago, the images on the boxes aren't any indication of the metallic shine, you don't notice it really until your closer to them and in the light, but I will say that I am very confident that those figures on the back of th box are the next releases... I am not fibbing when i say i talked to th manager, and I was shown the next releases in their system said Optimus Prime and Thundercracker.. Now the shipment ETA on that screen was unknown...but the manager did say he expected them within a few more weeks or so..

Metallic repaint Rescue Ratchet my ass, Hasbro. You wouldn't freaking dare do a repaint of a repaint based off of a seperate repaint. Pardon my language, but what the **** is that?

I'll change the title to rumor if ya'll want me to... but I know what I was told and what I saw.. thanks for the credit trunks...don't shoot the messenger guys, I was just trying to report the info to you as fast as I could, i was still working when i posted a little teaser earlier today.. but i finally had to go to my parents house, take the shots of them from my Brother's desk, and race back to the office to post them to the site...phew....

so take it however you want, but I was trying to give those of you who haven't bought them yet, a heads up, that from what I was told and shown.. more are on the way..and what to expect..

I'm sorry, I don't believe it.

Just about every movie exclusive has "also available" on them with pictures of different figures that are not exclusive.

tell you what, how about you take a trip to Best buy tomorrow, and find out from someone who works there.....

I took my lunch today to do that to find out an answer so that i could finally get some piece of mind and let ya'll know what I found out, since my earlier posts were hazy, 1 because of greygoose and Cranberry, the other because I was in a hurry with the lady at the store...so i went back to get the scoop from the Manager.. I'm still here arguing my validity.. and I should be home eating a nice dinner.. I'm starving myself for the fandom!!! ok, well, now I'm leaving work and going home, I'll be back later tonight.. see ya later guys.. :PEACE:

I'll tell you what, I made the trip to Best Buy on Tuesday and I got the same exclusives you did. I am looking at my exclusives and I am looking at my other voyagers and I see absolutly no difference.

I just can not believe some random manager at some random Best Buy has super secret inside information about these toys that he decided to share with you when no one else knows anything about them.

Yeah, I'd take the word of a manager from Best Buy who most likely knows next to nothing about Transformers as something to consider a rumor much less the truth.

The Manager of a Best Buy does not work for Hasblo. BB may be getting Primes and Ratchets, but I still do not think they are metallic finishes, just normal Voyagers we all know and love. There has been no news of this officlally from Hasbro either as far as I know.

I could be wrong, and I don't mind if I am. But I can't help but be skeptical about this. Something just isn't right.

Watch us all be sitting around expecting another super metallic version of Voyager Prime and arguing about the dumb idea-edness of doing metallic Thundercracker & Nurse Ratchet and all the sudden the site about the premuim figures updates and we all go to read and find out from Hasbro themself, the next premuim figure to be released with metallic paint:
