Once again, IDW has updated their Art Du Jour! Section. They updated the section with a new colored page drawn especially for the Transformers: The Animated Movie TPB. Here is what IDW has to say about the image:

For the animated movie, it would be real nice to have something which leads up to some of our favorite bots final days.

I agree I want more of the movie's 'cut' scenes...

Note to self: I am only buying this trade if the pages are truly more incredible than these with new not included in the movie material.

This is old news. Info about this page was posted back in January after TFTM: AMA #4 was released.

When is this coming out? I thought it was supposed to be out around the end of April.

I stopped caring about this mini after issue 3. There was nothing different about it (other than being drawn rather than animated). If anything, scenes were cut and the dialogue was lifted straight from the film with little or no deviation (not that the iconic lines couldn’t remain). I was very disappointed, except for the art. Unless there's a lot more material included, including 'cut' scenes, then this is a definite pass for me.

When is this coming out? I thought it was supposed to be out around the end of April.

It was supposed to be out two days ago.
