In what may seem like a long time coming to some of us, the Transformers franchise will be honored with induction into the ToyFare Hall of Fame at Wizard World Philadelphia from June 19th to June 21st, 2009 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
With the HASBRO toyline reaching its Silver Anniversary, it seems fitting that honoring the line would be this year. Wizard World had this to say regarding the induction:
“Hasbro has produced incredible Transformers action figures for both diehard fans and younger audiences,” Wizard Entertainment Publisher Gareb Shamus said. “We're very pleased to honor Hasbro with this award of achievement for Transformers.”
