New Photos of Animated Deluxe Rodimus Minor and an unnamed Animated Deluxe Oil Slick repaint have appeared. These pictures are the first to depict Rodimus Minor's 'Energy Bow' attached onto his alternate mode.

Both look pretty good. Oil Slick was a good fun mould I wouldn't mind having again, and Rodimus Minor looks pretty nice as well.

Rodimus is a MUST! Oil Slick looks good but, I have the original. We'll see if that becomes an impulse buy. :-?

Oil Slicker looks nice and it's good to know we don't have to have the engine up in alt mode for Roddy. That shade of red looks horrid on him, almost like it's a purple.

i will have to get rodimus but "oil sick" was only partially in one episode
"transwarped" and he was in the background in CYBERTRONIAN mode
so can we officially call him an animated figure?

Hot Rod looks awesome cant wait to get one. I like the Oil Slick mold but this one isnt that different from the original so i think ill have to pass.

WHY does Hasbro keep messing up Rodimus Prime's name?!! He's NOT a MINOR, he's a PRIME!

He was seen more than that. He's the one who threw the Cosmic Rust at Rodimus Prime and even had a speaking role!

Rodimus has some odd proportions right there. But he's still pretty cool.

Somehow I find it ironic that Energon Arcee was an archer and now so is Animated Rodimus. Now all we need is Springer to suddennly develop some archery skills ...

This Oil Slick Repaint was shown at one of the Hasbro panels, but several people forgot to mention it, as the differences between the repaint at the original are minimal.

This is minimal? This is nearer to what was used for the tech spec bio printed in the TFCC mag #24 back in December. Might get him again, keep the repaint in package.

No. He is NOT supposed to be Hot Rod, he is supposed to be Rodimus Prime. Back when the character was first announced and all the times after, he was labeled as "Rodimus Prime". OK, Sabrblade you win He is suppose to be a prime. Just to me I don't like to refer a figure being Rodimus Prime without the camper part. to me the sports car version with out the camper is and always will be Hot Rod.

It's how it is in Animated. And the last highest office is "Magnus". Moreover, there's an "Optimus Minor" in Beast Wars.

Although, at one point Ultra Magnus must have been called "Ultra Minor". WTF?
