The Arker has posted the in-package images of the Hunt For The Decepticons Battle Blade Optimus Prime. This is a brand new Voyager Class mold for the Autobot Leader.

Haha, I just noticed that too, guess somebody wasn't paying close attention, or just didn't care that day.

I like that they packaged him in robot mode, helps it stand out a little more in comparison to past movie voyager Primes.

I think i might pick this one up. I wont be getting the leader version any time soon so this looks like it could be a good replacement. It has the faceplate (thank you hasbro), blades, looks like the leader class and comes with the "matrtix" all for $20-$23. Id say thats worth it.

lol they would say that. Fine, give us a leader class grinder with a face that rips off when Optimus's hooks are inserted. Make sure it is a toys r us exclusive and in limited production. Please don't forget to repaint this mold into blackout and whirl. Please put him an exclusive two pack with some figure I don't want either but you guys overproduced anyway. That cool with Hasbro?

I love how due to copyright they have to add Autobot/Decepticon to all the names. It just makes me wonder what a modern cartoon would have to sound like...

"Ha ha! I've got you now, Decepticon Banzaitron!"

"Perhaps! But you're forgetting one thing, Autobot Battle Blades Optimus Prime!"

"What's that, Decepticon Banzaitron?"

"That right behind you Decepticon Bludgeon and Decepticon Ravage are ready to attack! Taste our Decepticon Fury Attack! Die, Autobot Battle Blades Optimus Prime!"

"Gah! You're no match for me, Decepticon Banzaitron, Decepticon Bludgeon and Decepticon Ravage! I, Autobot Battle Blades Optimus Prime will defeat you!"

Etc.

In my mind, this new series is voiced by the cast of the English-dubbed Headmasters series. Soon, Sparkle will come and the battle will be over.

The toy looks pretty neat, though. I think the departure from the usual mold is the biggest relief - this one looks better than anything, Leader or otherwise, in the first movie XD
