In hand images of the Dual Energon Sword Cyberverse Optimus Prime repaint revealed in the DOTM Guidebook have been posted to ACtoys. This figure features new dual cannons and Energon swords. Some of the images have been mirrored below to view the rest click here.

DECEPTICONS dare not attack OPTIMUS PRIME unless they love his Energon Swords dicing up their armor! He is a highly skilled warrior whose library of battle strategies is constantly evolving and improving!

It's clear that they're aiming for a G1 color scheme, but that toy screams TransFormers Prime Optimus Prime.

I wonder if that was intentional, considering they're due to come out soon.

Great, now I have to buy 2 more cyberverse Prime's. One to get his trailer, and the other to get his accurate guns and swords.

My preview Optimus should be pretty decked out by then.

I just picked up Preview Prime yesterday, and only because my TRU was giving him away free with a $25 TF purchase (which was pretty easy to do yesterday).

I'm pretty impressed with the little guy, and will definitely pick up this repaint.
