Transformers: Dark of the Moon (The Score) is now available for download from iTunes. The album is priced at $15.99 or individual tracks can be purchased for $1.29 each.

We have also received word that Amazon.com pre-orders for the score have been canceled due to lack of availability from their suppliers. Amazon has the item listed as "Currently unavailable. We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock."

I read this post and had to check with Amazon myself as I did not receive notification of my order for the score being canceled. According to Amazon my order is still placed with an unknown time of arrival. I hate for this to be the only score I had to purchase on itunes (I will wait it out and hope my order comes through)...I love to listen to both of the previous ones but alas there is nothing better on ROTF or DOTM scores than Arrival to Earth on the first!

I just checked my Amazon account and my pre-order is still showing as an open order with a delivery date of June 24- July 11. Considering the demand for the score for the first film that resulted in that score being released and the release of the ROTF score, I don't understand why they would cancel this one unless they have some sort of deal for an iTunes exclusive release or something, which would suck. Not an iTunes user or aac fan so really hoping they still put out a CD of this. Maybe they have just delayed the CD release as part of a deal to give iTunes an earlier release date like how some studios prevent release of movies to rental for 30 days after they hit stores? Guess we just keep waiting and see what happens.

I don't recall many Soundtracks to download as mp3 being priced at $15.99. I would think it would be less. Jablonsky's music for these movies are excellent and I will definitely get after I see the film or just download individually the best tracks. There are just a few tracks that I wasn't that excited about but maybe it's just the preview isn't quite long enough.

I just received the same cancellation email from Amazon as the one posted above. I can only hope at some point in the not too distant future a CD becomes available for this score. Wonder if everyone with a cancelled pre-order could start a petition to show the demand for this? I mean, our cancelled pre-orders stand as proof that we are willing to throw down our cash for this and aren't just spinning our wheels.

Likewise. I remember walking out of the first movie thinking "
I have to have that score!" only to race home and hit Amazon to find out all that was available at the time was the soundtrack. After some digging around I found there were a lot of other people thinking the same thing and then we eventually got the score. I pre-ordered the ROTF score as soon as it was available and did the same for DOTM, because I had faith Jablonsky would pull a hat trick and I wanted a physical CD of it to complete the set. I have a feeling it won't be too long before this is available, Razorclaw. At least thats is what I am hoping... was actually planning to crank it up in my garage while I paint my car and slap an Autobot emblem on it

Seriosly WTF???? I would like to have the cd too. What is wrong with these people? I just came back from best buy hoping they might have the score. I wasn't too surprised when I found out they didn't have it. I figured I would come home and be able to order from amazon. Imagine my surprise when i read the words unavailable by the listing for the score. Also not a single copy, or preorder on ebay. Seriously WTF? WE WANT THE SCORE to Dark Of Moon!
