Transformers Series Bible (Sunbow Productions, Inc., 1984). Everything you ever wanted to know about the original Transformers characters is in this extensive internal document dated May 10, 1984. These 75 pages (the producer's personal copies) run down the series premise and lay out synopses of episodes 1-13 and 16-30. The character pages show both forms of each character (including humans, Dinobots, Insecticons, and Constructicons) with info on their abilities and personalities. A similar item consigned by a different writer sold for $836 in a previous Heritage auction.
Behind-the-scenes documents from the original cartoon series THE TRANSFORMERS — the very robots that evolved into the battling mechanized behemoths currently brawling across movie screens — from the archive of producer Roger Slifer will be offered as part of our August 18 Signature Vintage Comics and Comic Art Auction.
