Blu-ray.com has listed the Blu-ray 3D Edition of Transformers Dark of the Moon with a release date of December 6th, 2011.

engadget.com is reporting that our Japanese friends will have to wait a little longer, January 20th, 2012. The disc will feature both English and Japanese soundtracks.

Lastly, Amazon.co.uk has the 3D edition listed for a December 12th, 2011.

I can't believe they didn't release a special edition of the movie with all the bonus footage in there.

I bought the DVD/Blue-ray one when it came out. If I had a 3Dtv I would have gotten this one.

Am I reading this right *still* no bonus features? The last two were pretty good extras wise, I hoping that the studio simply hasn't made the full list available to retailers yet.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. No one said there wouldn't be special features. In fact, we knew the special edition was coming out in December. This is what they were talking about. Just because we don't see special features listed, doesn't mean they're omitted.

yeah, from what i understood.. this upcoming release was going to have all of the bonus features. so.. hopefully that's still the case. i can't imagine them releasing this again without extras. and like pretender skywarp said.. the last two had some pretty good features to them, i can't imagine this one being any different.

though it does seem odd that there would be 3d blu ray, blu ray, dvd, and a digital copy all in one package. usually they reserve one disc for the special features.. so that's what is curious to me about this.

Will we be getting a separate 2-DVD version like in ROTF, or is the limited edition going to be this Blu Ray set this time?

I don't have a BluRay player, and have to rely on my PS3 to watch Blu Ray's. I try not to tax my PS3 too much, so I'm hoping for a DVD release with the bonus stuff.
