It is either pure coincidence, or sheer destiny, that I saw both sets, no other, at my local Toys "R" Us today on my way home.

I'd like to think neither. I just wanted to see if Metroplex was in-stock.

Ever since that commercial where Optimus steals Megatron's parts, I keep hoping in vain for an official source to actually say "Guiltaur". The only reason I'm considering buying this set when I find a decent sale price is that it would be a halfway decent representation of him. I thought an instructional video would at least show parts-swapping possibilities, but nothing doing. Was this video made because Hasbro's gotten complaints about the instructions being confusing?

The only other one I really intend to get is Starscream, since he could easily be dyed into the G2 Cybertronian air force. Whereas the the others will surely pop up in TJ Marshaxx by year's end, Screamer and Ironhide are cheap enough to plausibly show up in 5-Below, making my troop-building dreams come true.

Note to self: after acquiring Platinum Grimlock verus Bruticus and Metroplex, begin saving for possible Guiltar. But I can't stand the cartoon-y head, so that's gotta go...
