According to BBTS this figure stands even taller than the recently reissued Fortress Maximus, comes with a removable visor, shield, and cannon. However, the figure does not transform. He will also set you back a cool $549.99.

I would've paid that much for a 2 foot tall transforming Scorponok, but not this half-hearted attempt.

Oversized Actionmaster? Correction, over sized and super expensive Actionmaster. Btw, Scorponok's name for years sound wonky.........Megazarak is, well, kind of acceptable but why not a new amalgamation of the original..........call him Scorporak?

G1 Scorp had such a ridiculously simple transformation that there is no excuse for this not to do the same. All you need do is have a double jointed knee and some buggy kibbly type legs and a tail on the back and VOILA...you have a transforming Scorponok.
This thing looks pretty sharp though. Not 500 dollar sharp mind you. pass.

The most interesting thing about this figure (aside from its size) is the fact that it uses the more toy-accurate Japanese cartoon model design for MegaZarak:

Never understood the need for Non Transforming transformers, such a contradiction in terms and at this price, I would be surprised if this guy didn't flop.

I'd be interested to hear from anyone who is buying Ultimetal Prime and not this Scorponok, or vice versa.

I imagine this Scorponok would appeal to the Ultimetal folks, but you never know.

This was a complete waste of resources. There's literally NO need for this thing to exist. If it transformed, possibly. If it was...oh screw it. There's no justifiable reason for this thing to exist.

I hope they cancel this before it's too late and they go in debt over stupidity.
