LOST Cybertronian wrote:Thanks to Hobbybase on Facebook, we get another look at the upcoming MP-24 Masterpiece Star Saber. The magazine scans show off many of the features contained within the Masterpiece figure of the Supreme Commander as well as the many accessories the figure comes with. The Magazine scans also show off MP-23 Exhaust.
His "Courage" Brainmaster....he's like a mini me version of the jet.So that's what he actually looks like. The original Brainmaster wasn't painted in detail and based on its pics I find, not a whole lot to see.
Reminiscing and taking a closer look at his transform sequence, Star saber represents the apex of power mushroom armor upgrades. If Tomy attempts a God Ginrai, Star's supermode and articulation should be a good template to build on.

That's how you separate the ignorant trolls from the critics with actual valid criticism. You get a lot of those whenever there is a hype train to be ridden.

Sabrblade wrote::shock: THEY ACTUALLY MADE THE BRAINMASTER FACE GIMMICK WORK LIKE THE G1 TOY AND STILL ALLOWED FOR HEAD ARTICULATION!!!! WHAT MAD SORCERY GENIUSNESS IS THIS?!!!!!!!
It looks like the face is stored in the saber head and the raising of the chest plate brings it into the helmet. I don't think the brain is needed at all.
Fans of die-cast should be happy to note that MP-24 Star Saber will have more than a few die-cast parts. TF Yuki tweeted a picture of the parts that will be die-cast on Star Saber. The parts include feet, engine parts and more. After the last several releases of all plastic Masterpiece figures, what do you think about the inclusion of die-cast on Star Saber? Sound off in the Masterpiece Star Saber discussion thread.

Are those his joints? I'd like to correct the misconception but owning Tomy MP Convoy and Soundwave, both have die-cast parts. Of course not like the G1 versions but the do have. Iirc Convoy 's feet are die-cast. SW's, the joints and spine.

Seems to be just his feet and all the jets' thrusters & V-Star Cannons, which are for figure posing stability.
Huh, good to see some metal again. I honestly think that all joints on MP figures (especially thin ones) should be metal. The difference it makes is astonishing.
Thanks to Takara designer Hisashi Yuki, we get a new look at the upcoming Transformers MAsterpiece MP-24 Star Saber - or at least, at a production sample of the figure! Are you still planning on getting this diecast-filled, multiple armoured, tiny dude in medium dude in bigger dude toy? Check out the image, and let us know in the Energon Pub!

No paint, I mean (being a production sample and all).

Caelus wrote:My wife pointed out something interesting about the prehistoric Predacons. I said that everyone was complaining because transforming for them mostly consisted of them just standing up-right. She essentially said, 'So? That's what our ancestors did.'
So beast! He has ankle rockers and toe articulation too? Masterpiece is the most befitting title! The only thing I'm not into is the old-school robot look. I prefer the IDW version of Starsaber. But who cares? This is perfection!
I don't want to sound rude, but could you use less emoticons, please? Every post I've seen of yours has a ton of them, and it's getting a bit annoying. Especially when the comment itself is just "THIS IS AWESOME!!!1!" or some variant of that phrase.
