Is it safe to say that they will both be a Takara release? Nothing grinds my gears more than getting the Hasbro release only to find out how much better the Takara version actually is. So I chose to return them both for the simple possibility.

Do we know if this will be or no word yet? My thanks to anyone that may know. :VEHI:

Takara Windblade have been announced for ages and is just around the corner. Jiaxus is a given as well.

But heh, if you want to pay 40-50$ each figures instead of 15-20$, go nut.
There's been no word of a Takara release of Nightbeat or Jhiaxus.

The closest there has been is the Million Publishing release of Goshooter that uses he Nightbeat head, but no announcement of Nightbeat proper. Nor of Jhiaxus. Or Skids. Or Crosscut. Or Dreadwing. Or Goldfire.

Windblade got announced since Takara's gonna release her with Arcee and Chromia as a special trio of fembots in one wave.

Doubledealer got released as Cloud Starscream, but not as himself proper. And Scoop's getting released in the Japanese RID line as someone named Roadblock, so who know what he'll look like.

So yeah, Takara has sure been skipping out on a lot of Hasbro's Generations toys, either not releasing them at all, or only releasing them as something other than the characters that Hasbro intended them to be.

What? Is that a new trend? Because for like, ever, if Hasbro put a TF in stores, Takara would make a premium version of that automatically.
Now, Takara is going all weird.

So, the lesson is, you want that sh!t, you get that sh!t. Why wait? Unless you dont really want it. In that case, if Takara don't release that character at all and the Hasbro version is now only on Ebay at marked-up prices, it shouldn't be a problem.

yeah. theres just no telling what takara will and wont release these days. ive been buying 99% of hasbros figures for the past year or so, and doubling up with takaras if there was a reason to (ie: better deco). sometimes there isnt any need to cause hasbro has had the superior version of some figures lately. but either way, i dont want to get caught with my pants down. so unless i see a new figure on the shelf that i already know takara is besting, im buyin it.

come to think of it, only generations figure i have (or will be) passing on lately is roadbuster. damn stickers.

Weapon: Concussion Rifle
With Generations Arcee due to be released anytime now, some fans has been able get their hands on this figure early and according to youtube reviewer felzbug there might be a variant out there for everyone to look for. It would appear that different production runs made changes and there will be Arcees out there that have closed hands and open hands. Check out the video we've embedded below and remember keep your optics tuned to Seibertron.com for the latest in news and updates, plus the best galleries around!

Hmmm interesting.... I like the open handed look better. Gives her a less toy-like appearance.

Surely you could grind down the bottom of the hand so she can hold her weapon better?

I can live with my toys looking like toys.

I prefer closed hands because they're usually molded to look like fists and thus look right whether they're holding something or not, whereas open hands it's usually one or the other, but not both.

Mostly has to do with the headmaster's head.
It's on a post attached with a screw. If your not careful with the mechanism that connects with the torso, the headmasters head will break off when you pull. stripping the threads in the neck and severing the head. The head tends to insert to far into the mechanism, and too much force is needed to get it out.
Also sounds like some sloppy residuals from sprew(spell?) separation.

Yikes. Good thing to know ahead of time though, so I can check for mold flash, extra gate, and maybe loosen up the assembly a bit.

Extra Gate?
